| I have abandoned every principle that I have duly pledged to honor...violated all I have sworn to uphold... foresaken all that held me righteous... and just... I have done all this... and maintain... that I have done right ! |
| If someone believes what they're doing is right it's impossible to convince them... otherwise.... They will abandon all that is right -and- just, in favor of what they feel, is the, "Greater Good" These people, are dangerous and unpredictable Both victim & culprit, oppressed & oppressor |
| We are the only... species, on this entire planet, that is governed by; laws, regulations, legislations mandate, policy and protocol. We are born without instinct and must learn, as we grow, how to adapt to the dicates of civilization, to become contributing members of society. These Rules change, from time to time. "Good Rules" stand the test of time... "Bad Rules" cause; wars, struggle, strife and even countless deaths, in our world. Those who abandon any and all of them are penalized, as warning to the rest of us. From the moment of our birth, we look to the people that are the closest to us, for guidance, our parents. |
| Exceptions... have been granted some of us to bend and even break the rules, for the greater good. It's called expediency. But who's empowered, to make a determination between; good/evil, right/wrong? We've all seen/heard about secret covert government agents permitted to violate everyone and everything to; preserve -and- protect mandkind, serve the more honourable justice -and- quest for the greater good. However, we cannot and must not permit any person, to have and hold such power; power corrupts and absolute power corrupts -absolutely-. We must all govern ourselves the same without exception, equally without reservation, without limitations. Otherwise, for our entire species, life becomes exception...! |
| However... every once in a while, some government agency, bureaucracy or department is licensed to rise above the law to preserve and protect it. This is a futile jesture born of good intentions, that never seems to work, since it promotes the violation of everything, that is good, in a free and just society. But, there always seems to be, some Politician, bureaucrat -or- government official, who thinks he/she knows how to play, GOD. Tyranny and oppression rear their ugly heads and the threat, starts all over again... |
| In today's society... it is the social worker. With specialized training, experience and all manner of psycho-babble. We think them great visionaries, able to perceive, in the rest of us that which does not apply to them. The worst part of this, is that the Legislative System, seems to support this dillusion. For the rest of society, there are checks and balances, preventing us from taking the law into our own hands. However, if social workers are not bound by the same rules and regulations then they themselves become threatened, by a most seductive type, of corruption, and we're all in trouble... |
| If we allow... permit and/or license, any person, Politician, bureaucrat, social worker, agent and/or law enforcement officer, to act above the law and beyond its' application, then whatever rule governs the rest of us is threatened. Civilized Countries throughout the entire world, have sought to adopt Charters of Rights and Freedoms, to protect us one and all, from tyranny and oppression, by any select few over the many. Governments have done this, for all people to honor one another, without exception. |
