| SUMMARY : Caseworkers for, "The Child Protection System", are at the front line of an intensely lucrative, non productive growth industry. Don't trust them ! Don't believe them ! Don't follow them ! However, you can use what they say and do, to anticipate them, and get the jump on them, by resolving your own family's short comings, seeking out your own resources; counsellors, therapists, doctors, etc. Between the countless professionals you seek out on your own and the independent & objective referrals and treatments you receive, there'll be little for these casewokers to find fault with... And, the case will eventually die out! They'll never admit they didn't help, but they will eventually disappear from your life! |
| Their Smoothe : Like the, " Devil " himself, they will tell you things,.they think you want to hear. They will use gentle, soothing words like, "Concern" and "Reason to believe". They'll taunt you with the impression, they just want to help, and that they want to work with you, for the benefit of your children. They'll lead you to believe they are on your side -and- want to help you help your children. They'll seem sympathetic to your problems - and - cooperative towards your needs and those of your children... |
| Failing That : Should you see through their sympathetic & partonizing disguise, they'll turn on you like rabid dogs; betray you & everything you might have said, twist things you did say, and even possibly inventing things they'll claim you did say. They're the harvengers of evil, and will certainly betray you in a heartbeat as they will betray your husband and especially your children. Their ultimate goal is the case, not your children, and certainly not protecting them. It is making the case and doing everything they can to substantiate their claims against you and your husband, to support their casefiles and interventions. |
| They're Self Sustaining : Their primary objective is not to investigate and determine whether a report is true or not. This does not provide them with the statistical information they will need at funding appropriations time... No... No... Their primary objective is to find some way to twist & turn eveything around, to prove the report, suspicion, innuendo true & that you're guilty until somehow proven innocent Failing this, they'll seek out new suspicion, rumor and innuendo, while they're involved, in order to justify their involvement, it's a self perpetuating, self gratifying and self sustaining process of ," hoop jumping ". |
| Spin Doctor : Is a term, used in politics to describe a person who twists & turns everything, to the benefit of whomever they're working for. They'll include that one adjective, omit just the right descriptor and adjust the facts until it no longer resembles the."Truth". They've learned some of the finest political and bureaucratic misinformation techniques, from people who spent years honing such skills. In the end there will be no right or wrong, up or down, back or front and everyting becomes open to interpretation; the interpretation of whomever seems most credible... And, you can bet it won't be you...! |
| Make Work : The Child Protection System doesn't work because it isn't supposed to. It does not protect children from abuse/neglect. If it did, children would never be abused or neglected in State Care. It does provide a Money Pit, of employment opportunities, for countless college and university graduates. It does this by creating a complex network of programs for specific referrals, affiliated professionals for assessments and facilities for new sources of revenue; foster facilities and adoption agencies. Once you are deep within the system, their is little, if any likelyhood that you and your progeny will ever get out...! |
