| Bruce Johnsen sent me 30 slides a couple years ago. The slides are 120MM which evidently provides a higher definition than the normal 35MM. I went to the local franchise camera store and after the third visit they finally said they could convert them to C/D but it would cost $14.00 a slide. Not having $400 to spend on more photos for the website, I thew them in a drawer. At the dinner table on Christmas eve, my daughter in law, a fine arts major in college, offered to take them to work and use their high powered scanner to convert them to C/D.. She did them for the exact amount we had in the Tracer website budget, $0.00.. Thanks Kris.. We exhausted our 15 MG free website a couple years ago and I have eliminated items to keep under the 15 MG limit. Lee Doyel, Bruce Johnsen and Steve Phelps have volunteered to help support our new 500 MG ad free website. We can now expand and add a lot of new features to our website. We plead for more pictures and memoraibilia. We will gladly give you a little section like Bruce's if you give us a significant amount of pictures. This offer will extend to other AGR ships too. If your ship doesn't have a website, you can send your pictures and we will post them on our site under your name and your ship's name. Send photos by C/D is preferable, email or snail mail.. Because it takes so long to load Bruce's high definition pictures, I will index the whole series below. Some of the pictures of the officers sunbathing etc will not interest some?? Thanks Bruce for all you have done in recent years to promote the Tracer. |
