It is recognised among collectors that the date on the cover note is wrong. It was more likely close to the release of the A Period of Transition album in April 1977. See also the bootleg CD Amsterdam's Tapes and the Wonderland tapes

I've had correspondence from a friend of the Meters, and they say they are certainly not on this and have never recorded with Van! The date is also wrong - it's 1977. The line up is the same as other shows around this time and the Wonderland tapes - Dr John, Mo Foster, Mick Ronson, Peter Van Hooke. Obviously the Italian 'producer' of the boot made up his sleeve notes!
