Sweet
& Rich!
...Check with your local supermarket's deli section for things like fruit salad. You can add a can of pineapple to this for an island touch.
-You can save alot of  time by having the deli make up a cold cut and cheese platter.
-Trader Joe's stores makes very good frozen egg rolls which you can heat in the oven for a hot entree.
-Most markets offer banana chips in bulk. Mix 'em with peanuts and rice chex for an easy snack. They look really special in a wooden bowl.
-If you'd rather spend money on food than things like props. Get a piece or two of Hawiian print fabric from the fabric store,
and use one as a table cover. Then just place plants all around.  Any green plants will do, especially if there is a vine or they have a
  large bunch of flowers.
-Party stores now carry Luau type stuff almost all year 'round.

                                                                   Spam

In 1959, when Hawaii became the 50th state, Spam was already
    a well established staple food.
Hawiians adopted Spam when AMerican soldiers came to the Islands
in droves during World War II. Since then they have made many unique              dishes with it.
