| Wicca This section of my site will be about the Earth-based NeoPagan religion Wicca. Wicca is commonly asscciated with Magick and sometimes even refered to as Witchcraft. I 'd like to point out however, Witchcraft is not Wicca. Witchcraft is a craft; it is the craft of using natural forces to bend reality to suit one's needs. Wicca however is a New Age religion founded in the 1950's. Many Wiccans claim thier religion is centuries old, this is both true and untrue. It is true in the sense that it is a branch of Paganism, and Paganism is a native religion. It is untrue in the sense that Wicca itself is a fairly new religion in the eyes of the world. It has only relcently been a nationaly recognized religion and much of the old knowledge about the goddess religions of ancient peoples has been lost. However, Wiccans are slowly making their own way and reclaiming and finding old goddesses and their traditions every day.
