The set of Trainspotting
A lot of people were brought together to make the LA production of Trainspotting what it was.

Co-producer Andrew D'Angelo joined Roger Mathey in getting all the pieces necessary.

The first and most important piece was the selection of stage manager Kirk Scott, who also took on the duties of prop master, set crew chief, and provided music for the show. Kirk was the backbone for the show during his tenure with the show, running the lights and sound for all but the last three weeks.

An integral part of the show's atmosphere was the sound design and original music created and composed by James Dethlefson and Brian Palla. The ambient noise and soundtrack gave body to the work.
Stage Manager Kirk Scott (2nd from left with actors Karl Wade, Pamela Pedder, and John Hirschmann) was an invaluable part to the successful workings of Trainspotting
Deborah Blake served as the costumer and helped the cast get together the wardrobe they would need to create an authentic feel... the grungy European fashion needed to make the cast look real. Kudos to her and her crew of Mary Allyson Blake and Colleen Melton.

The make up design was created by make up designer/actress Jane E Norris who taught the cast how to create the right track marks and bruising needed to look real on stage.

Dialect coach Andrea Morgan had the task of getting the actors so they sounded authentic without losing so much that the audience would be lost.

Richard Bailey of TZEnt provided the publicity that helped bring in all the reviewers to come see the show and promote it around the city.

Actor David Agranov choreographed all the stage combat we needed to make it look real but be safe for the actors in a space where the audience was a mere ten feet from the action.

And much help came from the likes of associate producers such as Guin Park and Gary Smith, who provided the needs to get the show done.
James Dethlefson (seen above) and Brian Palla's score served to heighten the story for Trainspotting and earned them numerous accolades.
Jane E. Norris (in purple) shows the actors make up techniques they will use to look like actual junkies. Her website can be found in the links section of this page.
Actors
Jessica Chisum and Laura Rice learned numerous fight techniques from fight choreographer David Agranov to prepare for their roles as battered woman in the play.
