The following are statistics on improvements made by fitness challenge participants who trained with me for the duration of the contest. Each made good progress and has reason to be proud of his/her achievements. Keep in mind, when reading, that each person may have individual goals (such as gaining muscle, losing bodyfat, increasing strength, etc or any combination of these goals.) Also remember that some of the following people just started weight training, while others had been training for a few months before the beginning of the contest. |

These figures are based on a 1 Repetition Maximum (1RM: the amount of weight that can be lifted correctly one time.) These 1RM estimates were derived from actual working sets performed during workouts and then estimated using a 1RM estimate chart. Some estimates are not available because there was not a credible or accurate before or after working set performed that would give a good estimate of strength. |
