TRANS ASIA HOTEL CONSTITUTION OF THE STEERING COUNCIL - ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT (AMENDED 23.7.2001) |
| 1.Name The name shall be the Steering Council - Accounts Department (SCAD) 2.Address The address of the operation of the SCAD shall be No.115, Sir Chittampalam A Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 2. 3.The Objects The objects shall be amongst others, to steer the Accounts Dept, and to promote welfare amongst the members mentioned in section 5 and specifically to : a) Make a donation of RS.10,000/- in the event of a death of a member. b) Make a donation of RS.3,000/- in the case of a death of a parent, spouse or child under the age of 18 years. c) A permanent member only shall be entitled to a Terminal Benefit to the value of SR.3,000/- on resignation from service or is transferred to another department within the hotel, after having been a permanent member of the SCAD for a minimum period of one year. This sum shall increase by RS.500/- for each year of service from year 2 Year 1 and over - RS.3,000/- Year 2 and over - RS.3,500/- Year 3 and over - RS.4,000/- and so on...... d) Present a gift to the value of RS.5,000/- on the wedding of a permanent member only. The permanent member must complete one year to be eligible. e) Arrange Management Development Programmes (MDP) three times a financial year where the disbursement by the SCAD is limited to RS.5,000/- per MDP and is subject to the availability of funds. The MDP objectives and guidelines shall form part of the constitution. f) Accounts department Super League shall be entitled to draw funds in respect of the super league not exceeding RS.1,500/- to award as prizes per league to a maximum of four leagues during a financial year. The committee is empowered to carry out fund raising activties decided in prior by the committee, and such funds termed "Super League Fund" shall be used exclusively for the activities of the Super League. The Super League Objectives and guidelines shall form part of the constitution and the Super League committee is empowered to execute and changes to the guidelines that are deemed necessary. g) The objects include the upholding and fostering of the Accounts Dept.Theme Song that is in English & Sinhala. h) The objects include the upholding and fostering of the Accounts Dept. Logo which is the Eagle in blue and in white background with the motto "Together in Search of Excellence". i) The objects include the upholding and fostering of the Dept.
