Male models were drawn using the drawing toolbar in Microsoft Word.  Such a strategy is, in itself a 'take'.  By choosing a program not noted for graphic superiority, there is a proposition that a lightweight program may shed more light on masculinity than a program such as Illustrator.  One might expect that a new yet-to-be-developed program under a title like 'Macrohard' would be more fitting than Microsoft to deal with masculinity.
Tapping into the benefits of creating computer files, visitors to "TAKE" at Ipswich were encouraged to take home a printout of the "Take" that has most resonance with their take on masculinity.
TAKE is now showing at bsg Gallery, 322 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy Victoria from Feb 29 - Mar 13 2008.
