nf7-s rev2 vcore measurements (23 june 2003)

Mobo tray cutout for easy access to the back of the board.

Vcore was set to 1.825v in bios. The CPU was a 2100+ running at 210*11 (2310mhz). Voltage measurements were made initially with the computer in the pchealth bios menu, which showed 1.84vcore. Vcore measurements at inductor outputs were 1.835-1.836v.

In comparison, vcore varied from 1.816-1.819 when measured at various points on the socket.

Here's a sample measurement of inductor output taken in windows in idle mode.

Another measurement at socket input, lever side, taken in windows in idle mode.

Here's a screen capture of mbm 5.33 in idle mode.

Here're some vcore measurements taken on the lever side, after XX minutes YY seconds of prime95 (ver23.4.1), with 1.825v bios setting.

During the test period, the lowest vcore reported by mbm was 1.76v, and highest was 1.81v, giving a variation of 2.8% between idle and load. From the above measurements, however, vcore variation was 1% between idle and load.
