The 5-FID mod and wire tricks are two different ways of changing the CPU (e.g., unlocked Tbred and mobile barton) multiplier on A7M266. The XP-M multiplier can be changed on-the-fly in windows on A7M266 with CPUMSR or CrystalCPUID.

The L12 wire mod can be used to force a 166fsb CPU to 133fsb or 200fsb, or a 133fsb CPU to 166fsb or 200fsb.
