All are located on their own quiet stretch of coastline and are all-inclusive. They have scheduled theme parties during the week. They also offer one free tour for a 3 or 4 night stay and 2 free tours for a 5 to7 night stay. All are 5 star + resorts and you can visit all Palace Resorts - Stay at 1, Play at 9. Flamingo Resort - This is were I stay when I visit Cancun.. The staff is wonderful and the location is great. The food is wonderful and the resort is all around the most wonderful place that I have experienced in Cancun. You just can't seem to beat it. For more info on the Flamingo visit my Flamingo page. Camino Real - This resort is one of the nicest resort in Cancun. It is located at Punta Cancun, which has some of the best snorkeling in Cancun. The resort itself is very beautiful and lush. Visit the north side of the resort along the break wall and look for the native iguanas, they are plentiful. All rooms have lagoon or ocean views with private balconies, remote control color TV, air-conditioning, mini-bar, direct dial telephone, nightly turn-down service and voice mail. Club Med - This adults only resort is located on the south end of the island at Punta Nizuc and is probably the most secluded resort in Cancun. The snorkeling off this resort is the best in Cancun. The resorts atmosphere is very relaxed and layed back. Great place for a romatic getaway. Royal Solaris - This beautiful beachfront property is the most complete all-inclusive resort in Cancun. It has non-stop entertainment with a relaxing atmosphere. They have 8 restaurants, 6 bars, 2 snack bars, 4 swimming pools and 2 oceanfront jacuzzis, plus 7 different dinner-show theme parties each week. Melia Cancun Spa & Beach Resort - The Melia is one of if not the most magnificent resorts in Cancun. They have an onsite full service spa. The front lobby is a flourishing indoor garden with palm trees, dense ferns and hanging vines. The outside is landscaped with a wide expanse of majestic gardens. 583 rooms all include satellite television with pay-per-view, air-conditioning, mini-bar, safety deposit box, Spectravision service, hair dryer and private terraces and 24-hour room service They also offer an on site 18 hole par 3 golf course. Melia Turquesa - Located right on the beach, this Mayan pyramid-shaped structure is graced with European elegance. Private balconies offer breathtaking views of the sunrise over the Caribbean or the sunset over the lagoon. Two restaurants are available to satisfy every palate. Plus, you'll be serenaded with live music during breakfast and dinner. Omni Cancun Hotel & Villas - From on-property shopping plazas and open air markets to a wide array of activities and scenic views, the Omni gives you everything you expect from a fine luxury hotel. Enjoy the water sports available at the marina, stroll through the picturesque tropical gardens or along the extensive palm lined beach. Savor a diverse selection of cuisine and enjoy entertainment in the lobby bar. AAA four diamond 'Gold Key' award winning hotel featuring a new full service spa. All rooms have air conditioning, television, hair dryer, bath tub, makeup mirror, direct dial telephone with dataports, alarm clock/radio, mini-bar, safety deposit box, and all marble floors. Most rooms have private terraces. Costa Real - A nice 4 star resort located on the Caribbean Bay side of Cancun. It offers 182 deluxe rooms which all have 2 double beds, mini-fridge and balconies - 122 studios which all have kitchenette, dining area, king or 2 double beds, large terrace - 10 1 bedroom suites which have dining room, living room, full kitchen with microwave and 4 bunner stove, large fridge. All rooms have satellite TV, in-room safe and A/C. The resort has 2 restaurants. The main one is Las Gaviotas which serves wonderful International cuisine. The other is the Albatros El Pueblito. It is located in front of the Ruinas del Ray on the southern part of the Hotel Zone. The hotels most stand out feature is the 5 cascading pools with a huge waterslide. The resort offers 240 rooms and suites with beautiful garden surroundings. All rooms have satelite TV, telephones and balconies. There are 3 restuarants and 2 bars. The resort looks like a old, romantic Mexican hacienda. They also offer theme nights at the restaurants, which is very fun. They have tennis courts and the non-motorized water sports is provided by AquaWorld.Grill which serves lunch. The resort has such amenities as watersports center, minimart, laundry service, handcraft school, car rental, tennis courts, and onsite doctor. Krystal - The Krystal Cancun is a very nice hotel. It is located at Punta Cancun, which is the center and hottest part of the Hotel Zone. The resort has one of the best night clubs in Cancun, Christine's. It is a very popular club and they play some of the best music to dance to here. The pool at the Krystal is very beautiful as it sits above the beach and gives you a wonderful view of the Caribbean. The hotel has three very good restuarants. First, Hacienda El Montera, which serves native Mexican dishes and is located in a replica colonial house. Second is Bogarts, which specializes in a variety of international foods. Third is Rarotonga, which specializes in seafood and meats. The resort also has gym, tennis and racketball courts, jogging and biking tracks if you want to stay active while your there. Caribbean Village Cancun - It ia a very nice resort with 300 rooms all with either 2 double beds or one king or queen. All rooms have A/C satellite TV, In room safety deposit box, ceiling fans and more. The resort has 4 very good restaurants, Calipso is the main restaurant and serves international cuisine. Firenze serves Italian specialties, La Troje serves Mexican specialties and is very good and Miranda's serves Brazilian specialties. The resort also has 6 bars and a disco. They offer a wide array of activities such as volleyball, beach soccer, tennis courts as well as nightly enterainment. If you are into watersports the have snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, kayaks and more. They have 2 wonderful pools, a tour desk, newstand and a massage area. All around this is a very nice resort and there is plenty to do here. El Pueblito - It is located in front of the Ruinas del Ray on the southern part of the Hotel Zone. The hotels most stand out feature is the 5 cascading pools with a huge waterslide. The resort offers 240 rooms and suites with beautiful garden surroundings. All rooms have satellite TV, telephones and balconies. There are 3 restuarants and 2 bars. The resort looks like a old, romantic Mexican hacienda. Presidente Intercontenintal - The resort is on of the few resorts in Cancun that has recieved the AAA Four Diamond rating. This is a wonderful 5 star hotel. The rooms are very large and decorated with marble floors. All rooms have mini bar, A/C, satellite TV with pay-per-view and 24 hr prompt room service plus more. The resort has 4 restaurants, Los Soles, which offers traditional and nouvelle Mexican cuisine, El Caribeno, which offers fresh seafood, Frutas y Flores, which offers local fare and Cana Brava, which is the beach front snak bar. The resort also offers a fitnees center, tennis court, gift shop, water sport lessons and more. This is a very nice resort. Casa Magna Marriott - The Marriott is a beautiful 4 diamond AAA resort. It has 450 rooms all with either 1 king or 2 double beds and all king rooms have a pullout sofa. All rooms have in-room safe, mini- bar, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, TV with US cable, balconies and more. The resort has some wonderful restaurants. One of my favorites is Mikado, which is a Japanesse steak house(and other Japanesse specialties). There is also La Capilla, which serves International cuisine - La Isla which has Bar-B-Q for lunch - Bahia Club which serves seafood. The resort has a great amount of amenities such as volleyball, Samba lessons, water polo, gift shop, silver shop, beauty salon and more. The resort also has 2 tennis courts, gameroom, 24 hr room service and also offers a wide variety of water sports. This resort is one of the prettier resort in Cancun. Beautifully landscaped. The staff is very good and friendly. Plaza Las Glorais - The Plaza Las Glorais is a beautiful 4 star resort located in the Playa Linda area(very nice area). The resort offers 140 rooms all with tile floors, marble bathrooms, satellite TV, private balconies and more. The resort offers 2 restaurants. Las Pergolas is the main restaurant which offers a variety of Mexican and International cuisine. La Palapa is the beachfront restaurant which offers a bar and casual dining. The resort has an onsite marina, which you can book snorkeling, scuba, jet skis and fishing. This resort also offers tennis courts, fitness center, lobby bar with live music, room safe, onsite drug store, gift shop, jewelry store and more. The resort has a very nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The beach is very nice and the water is calm which makes for wonderful snorkeling. They have a nice pier which you can even fish off of. Sheraton Towers - The Sheraton is a very beautiful resort. It even has some small Mayan ruins on it's property. The rooms in the tower offer balconies, hair dryers, mini-bar, satellite TV, butler service from 7am to 11pm and more. The resort offers 4 restaurants which my favorite out of them is Yankin Grill. The resort also has a shopping acrade, miniature golf, a newly remodeled fitness center, 2 pools(both with swim up bars) plus much more. Sheraton is a very nice resort. Aquamarina - Aquamarina is a very nice 4 star hotel. It has 175 ocean view rooms or suites all with A/C, satelite TV, large balconies plus more. All the rooms are very comfortable. The resort has 2 restaurant, the Las Perlas is the main restaurant which serves a variety of Continental cuisine. The other restaurant is El Ancla, which is a nice poolside snack bar. The resort also offers 2 bars, the lobby bar with live jazz music and the swim-up pool bar. They also offer in house aerobics, volleyball, two secret jacuzzis and miniture golf. All around a very nice resort plus very good service. Yalmakan . Although at this resort the rooms were nice the staff was not very helpful or good with service, except for the maid service. The specialty restaurant , Blue Paradise, was pretty good but was only open one night that I was there. The other restaurant was buffet only which the food was so-so and there was hardly any service there at all. The beach is nice and they do offer nightly entertainment. I would rate this resort about a 4 out of 10 stars. Radisson Hacienda/Holiday Inn - First-class hotel located in downtown Cancun. The colonial architecture of the hotel features graceful arches and massive pillars in the tradition of 19th century Mexican hacienda. 248 rooms, including 11 Junior Suites, 22 luxury Executive Floor rooms, 1 Presidential Suite and 214 standard rooms. All equipped with air conditioned, color cable TV, safety security box, coffee maker, alarm clock, Am/ Fm radio, touch tone telephone, full bathroom, hair dryer and working table. Shuttle service year round, three times a day to the Beach Club is provided. Bilingual staff, open swimming pool, wet bar, kids swimming pool, gym, steam room, lighted tennis court, beauty salon, tobacco and gift shops, rent a car, laundry, dry cleaning, and baby sitter. Fiesta Americana Cancun - Deluxe resort that rooms offer a private oceanfront terrace or balcony overlooking one of Cancun's most beautiful beaches, hair dryer, safety deposit box, direct dial telephone, color satellite TV with remote control, AM/FM clock radio with alarm, tub with shower and individual climate control. Golf, tennis, jogging paths and a health spa are within reach. The hotel is also across the street from the largest shopping area in Cancun. Fiesta Americana Condesa - The hotel is a unique location: Mediterranean style, tropical surroundings, waterfalls, atriums filled with lush plants and ponds and a magnificent beachfront. Hotel is designed with a fine touch of elegance, comfort and casual luxury. 502 rooms include air-conditioning, satellite TV, AM/FM radio with alarm, mini-bar, safety deposit box, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, vanity area, bathtub with shower, shower caps, first aid kit, shoe cleaner, shampoo and conditioner. Most rooms have a balcony. Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach - 602 room beautiful resort. All rooms are suites have balconies and views of the Caribbean. Suites are equipped with direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, satellite remote color TV, hair dryer, alarm clock with AM/FM radio and living room. The resort also has 3 wonderful restaurants, Isla Contoy Coral Reef - serving international and continental cuisine with a Northern Italian theme. Lunch and dinner only. Vina Del Mar - serving international cuisine for buffet breakfast and dinner La Joya - serving gourmet Mexican cuisine for dinner only. Sierra Cancun- Wonderful 260 room resort located in the heart of the hotel zone in Cancun. All rooms have a sitting area, satellite TV with remote control, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and balcony or terrace. There are water sports available on premises - motorized and non-motorized; including: snorkeling lessons, scuba lessons, deep sea fishing, water skiing, wave runners and banana boat rides. Grand Oasis Cancun - Housed within its pyramidal architecture, the Grand Oasis is one of Mexico's most attractive tourist complexes offering accommodations that feature suites with ocean and lagoon views. The landscaped exteriorareas include 32 acres of lush tropical gardens, the largest swimming pool in Latin America and two marinas with aquatic activities. 960 rooms feature air conditioning, private terrace, 25 inch remote control color TV with additional satellite channels, mini-bar, 2 direct dial telephones. This resort also has the Up and Down nightclub. Crown Paradise Club - This beautiful resort captures the magic of Mexico and the comfort of home. The unique architecture enables all guests to enjoy the sights of the Caribbean while providing the open atriums with lush tropical vegetation. Family-oriented all-inclusive resort, with activities and entertainment for all ages. 616 rooms oceanview and have a balcony, air-conditioning, satellite TV, hair dryer, clock radio, safety deposit boxes and a telephone with voice mail. The Crown Club Area is adult only and all rooms are oceanview and have a balcony. Each room has it's own double jacuzzi, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, clock radio, CD player, mini-bar, coffee maker, safety deposit box (electronic), and telephone with voice mail feature. Additional features include: hairdryer, makeup mirror and telephone in the bathroom. Each room is supplied with bathrobes and slippers. |
