Project Dates: September 2005 - May 2006 (There will be no hosting on weeks with Monday holidays, the week of Thanksgiving, the 2 weeks of winter vacation, or the week of spring vacation.)

Grade Level: Kindergarten - 6th Grade

Technical Requirements:
1. e-mail account with the ability to open attachments
2. printer
3. scanner (preferred, but not required) If you do not have the equipment to scan Techno Teddy, you may send Techno Teddy to the Project Director to scan. Please include your name, school address, and e-mail address. The paper may not be larger than 8-1/2 x 11 inches).

Love the idea of a travel buddy project, but dread having to get yourself and the 'buddy' to the post office in time?

Welcome to "Traveling Techno Teddy"! A totally technologically contained project, Traveling Techno Teddy allows the class to share information with other classes solely within the confines of cyberspace.

Host Techno Teddy for one week, detail Teddy's adventures in a journal format, decorate the Teddy template, scan, and by the end of the week e-mail the Teddy template and the journal back to the Project Coordinator. Keep track of Teddy's journeys and adventures at the Techno Teddy web site.
