ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE TIPS
1 Can Asparagus
1 Can Green Peas
4 Hard Boiled Eggs
1 Can Soup (Cream of: Asparagus, Mushroom, or Chicken)
2 Cups shredded cheese (Velveeta is best - but you can use American or cheddar)
1 Sleeve Ritz or saltine crackers, crushed and tossed with 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
Drain asparagus and peas. Peel and slice eggs. In buttered medium size casserole dish, layer half of asparagus, half of peas, 2 sliced eggs, half of soup, 1 cup cheese, 1/2 of crackers. Repeat. Bake at 350 degrees abuot 30 minutes or until bubbly and light brown. Serve and enjoy.
TIP: Fresh asparagus ruins it. Use the canned kind. Much better.
