EASTERN PHOEBE, Sayornis phoebe - just outside the
north window
Named after it's repeated call "feebee", over
and over, this graceful flycatcher uses it's tail like a ballerina, bouncing up
and down. An aerial acrobat, our cheery neighbor diets on mosquitos, endearing
her to all. The first American bird ever banded by John James Audubon, per L
