Wild Cucumber (Echinocystis lobata)
Also called Balsam Apple. Showy flowers are male, while smaller female flowers are in the leaf axils. Fruits are prickly pods which when dry, leave behind papery insides called "lace pants" by children. Common in moist, brushy places in Minnesota.
