Hello and welcome to my world. Here is just a little about me. I grew up in South Dakota. After completing my education at South Dakota State University, whose website is linked to the button at the bottom of the text, I taught school for two years. I was in a very small school system where my largest class had 12 students. The high school and middle school combined had 75. I decided that I craved a bigger challenge, so back to SDSU I went where I obtained a degree in Medical Technology. I then did my internship at Marian Health Center (now Mercy Medical Center) in Sioux City, Ia. I then found myself wandering to a job in the Northern part of Wisconsin. Yes, there are bears in them there woods. After working there and making many friends with the people who worked in the small hospital I soon found myself wanting a bigger challenge. So, as the wind blows, I loaded up my belongings and found myself working in the big city of Madison, Wi. Lucky for me Madison has so many small places around it so that I could find some space to call mine. I just share it with my beloved buddy. Buddy came to me from the Humane Society in Dane County. He had been neglected or abused, not sure which. In any event, Buddy could not be more happy. I work in one of the larger hospitals in Madison, so there is never a dull moment or a day that does not have some kind of challenge to look forward to or to run from. Oh, did I say that, Silly Me, I mean work out. And yes, my job can be a workout. My hopes and dreams are to someday live in a world where we are not afraid of eachother. Where people actually do mean what they say even when they are only asking you, "how are you?", that they really do want to know. And that you really say how you are without wondering if they really mean what they asked you. I know it is a big dream, but a girl can dream, can't she? |
