NOVEMBER 23, 2003 Well, this is the second of what I hope will be alot of collumns! Ric Flair's DVD collection has sold out all over North America! He he, WOOOO! Most people don't like Flair these days because he's a heel. He's with Evolution. But I know most the people in their late 30's and up love flair. They have seen the Nature Boy, wrestle back in his hayday! I am not that old, but I have seen some of his matches. He kicks ass! I'm glad for him that the DVD's sold out. Good old Ken Shamrock was inducted into the UFC hall of fame a few days back. Good for him, he's a great athlete and I have always enjoyed watching him. WWE has made somewheres around the amount of 1.2 million dollars this quarter or so I hear. Which is way better than last year when they where in debt. Even though the ratings have gone down, it looks as though they have had a good quarter this year. Right now I am going to talk about storylines and the WWE. Nowadays there are these writters that make up the storylines and tell people what to say. It started somewhere around 1999 or 2000. Since 2001 WWE has gone way down in the ratings. The buisness is just not that appealing to alot of people anymore. I mean back in 97 - 99 there where factions such as D-X, The Corporation and The Union. There was alot of chaos going on, which at the core was Stone Cold Steve Austin. He had titantrons destroyed, crushed cars, sprayed people with beer! That's just something you want to see. And it was mainly up to the wrestlers that came up with this stuff. See now all that's gone. Some guy is telling them what to do, but they don't even know what it's like to be in the ring! This quote I agree with: "Give the buisness back to the damn boys!" Thats the article for this week, I may add another one later on this week, till then, Thats the bottom line! - Austin 3:16 |
December 7, 2003 Hey all! This is the beginning of the two a week collumns of mine. I am pretty excited! Right now I would like to talk about the way I am going to start doing my collumns. At first I was going to have collumsn that give away things and tell you whats going to happen. Thats going to stop. I am going to go back to being a fan. Not some guy that goes and spoils everything that you want to be surprised with when Raw or Smackdown comes. The only thing like that that I will continue to do is to give you the most in depth coverage on news with Austin that I can get. Any other thing that I write is going to be from a fans point of view. I just think its better that way. I like it better that way. I watched the interview with Trish Status today, I had taped it, but not watched it until today. She is not and I repeat not going to do playboy! Oh because other women have done it and she wants to do things other women in WWE havn't. Pfft. Anyways she had nothing really to say about Raw. She was pretty much thier to talk about herself and her new DVD. And once again she wasn't wearing anything good! I'm looking forward to Armaggedon next sunday. I think its going to be a blast! I predict that Goldberg will walk away with the title. I know that HHH hasn't been around due to his movie so I doubt that he will win. I think Kane might win but if he does, whos goign to beat him? He's been destroying every superstar! I think that Randy Orton will win the Intercontinental Title, he deserves it and RVD has gotten to the point of boringness beyond believe. The Shawn Michaels Batista match is looking really good. I hope HBK will win. The only other match that I am going to speak of is the Tag Team Turmoil match. It looks to be great! I think that Val and my home town favorite Lance Storm will win the titles. I'm also looking forward to Raw tomorrow! Since the show has been on Fire lately I hope it is again! I am serious! The Raw shows have been amazing! I can't wait to see that Mick will do you piss of Eric Bishoff. I picked up the first copy or Smackdown Magazine today. I plan to read it tonight. It looks pretty good! Nathan Jones has reportedly quit from what I read at prowrestling.com. Thats fine by me, he was a crappy wrestler to begin with. Matt Morgan, he's pretty bad too, but he's a rookie so you gotta give him time! Till then Thats The Bottom Line! - Austin 3:16 |
November 17, 2003 Well this is my first collum. Its a sad one, because as I am sure you already know, Stone Cold Steve Austin is gone. His team lost the match last night at Survivor Series. Steve is only 38 years old, compared to some other wrestlers like the Undertaker: 42 and Ric Flair: really old lol, he is still old enough to wrestle. Although he did retire after Wrestlemania 19, it would have been awesome to see him at Wrestlemania 20. Ya never know... Most likely he will still be around WWE, only backstage. Watching this guy back in 97 was so awesome and still to see him today is. Man I tell you I looked up to Austin the way you might look up to a hockey player or baseball player. Before 2 years ago I barely watched sports, all I ever watched was wrestling. Boy my buddies and I sure had a great time when we would have street fights and stuff, and at one time or another be Austin. I would always perfect every move. We once had our own little wrestling federation and I used to us alot of Stone Colds moves. Well onto other news. As you know, the Undertaker was burried alive due to kane last night. This will set up a reserrection for the taker. See taker will come back most likely at Wrestlemania with his old gimmick, the Phenom. He will possibly be fighting Kane. Triple H and Stephanie are back from thier honeymoon. Triple H lost last night because he is going to Hollywood to film some stuff. Stephanie is returning to Smackdown but in a different way, she will be one of the lead story writters for the Smackdown brand. I think that last nights Smackdown elimination match is the match thats going to boost John Cena into Superstardom. I think that was his break out match. Don't be surprised if you see him fighting more the title in a few months or weeks for that matter. Chris Benoit may get a title shot at Armageddon, but as for now no matches have been announced. Thats my article for today. - Austin 316 |
FEBUARY 1st, 2004 Alright! my first collumn of 2004! It's gonna be short for now because I am going to update it tomorrow. It's great to see a new sherriff in town! I love the fact that Stone Cold can whoop some ass again! On another not I ordered his autobiography that came with a free shirt the the book was signed by him. I hope to get some picutes up soon! I have finished reading it and am reading it through again. If your a Stone Cold fan your going to love this book! It is really great! more tomorow |

DECEMBER 3, 2003 Sorry for having this article late! I have been really busy lately working at a tree lot. Anyways I wanted to let you all know that I figured out hwo to make pages bigger so I will soon get around to reformatting the whole site. Well it's pretty much official, Golddust will not return. His cotnract will be up soon and WWE will not sign a new one. He had his moments, I never really liked him that much, I mean he was pretty funny at times but he need more of an edge. I have two count them two great things to post right now! Mick Foley is back, Thank god! Foley is GOD! lol anyways I really enjoyed him being back last monday, he has always been a favorite of mine. I think that he will bring a bit of life back into RAW ratings wise. Other than that RAW has totally been on fire since Survivor Series, the matches are so dame good! Raw has been ppv quality for the last 3 weeks now. The second thing I wanted to post is a rumor I have been hearing. I have heard that Stone Cold could possibly make his return this Monday night! Now its just a rumor but you know it's something that I will look forward to. I think that even if Austin comes back at Armaggedon it will still be great. Now remember that was just I rumor. I do suspect that he will be back at Armaggedon. On the Smackdown side of things, I am looking forward to the Cena, Benoit match. Both these superstars deserve the title, but I thing Benoit should get the shot and even win sometime in the future. This guy has worked so hard his whole life for that damn belt and and he totally deserves it. WWE might be leaning into the direction of Cena, as he is an up and rising star. Word Life. Brock Lesnar will most likely be fueding with Holly for the next month or so. Maybe they will have a title match, but I am sure that Brock will keep the Belt. Kurt Angle is getting better, his neck was worse than he thought but it's recovering. We probably won't see him back until Royal Rumble, he may make some appearances but he is not cleared to do in ring work. You may be wondering why Triple H wasn't on RAW this week. He has ben juggling Raw and his movie Blade 3 for the past little while, do excpect him to be at all the shows in the near future. There are rumors that Randy Savage or Rock will fued with John Cena at Wrestlemania 20, that would be cool, Savage and rock are two of my all time favorites. HBK Shawn Michaels fighting Ric Flair is also in the mix for Wrestlemania. Also this P.P.V. could be a five hour special. That would be great. Thats all for now, until then That's the bottom line! - Austin 3:16 p.s. Seasons Greetings! |
DECEMBER 10, 2003 Well I never thought id'e chant this again and I admit I was losing faith... "ROCKY ROCKY ROCK ROCK!!" Finally the Rock has come back to the WWE!!!!! The Rock N Sock connection is back! The only sad thing is that he won't be for long. From an interwiew on WWE.com he siad he is gonna be making another movie soon. It's still great to see him. It sucked that Cristian and Y2J git beat apon my Trish and Lita. Oh well, they screwed it up. The Tag Team tourmoil match now has La Resistance and Tet and Stiener in it. WWE Armaggedon is shaping up to be another great PPV. You can catch is on some Satelite providers, Shaw Cable (PPV) or go to the movie theaters. I can't wait. WWE has been on fire! Thats the bottom line cause Austin 3:16 said so! |
