| MARCH 22, 2004 Well, for the first part of my collumn I am gonna comment on the biggest stage of em all. The granddaddy of em all. Wrestlemania. Wrestlemania XX (20) dissappointed in alot of matches in my opinion. For some reason I wasnt very excited after the thing started or ended for that matter. Usually I am ecstatic of Wrestlemania or any other big PPV Event. I saw about 4 good matches. Y2J v.s. Christian. Evening Gown Match. Gurerro v.s. Angle and the triple threat match for the World Title. I was looking forward to these three matches: Rock N Sock match, Lesnar v.s. Goldberg and Taker v.s. Kane. The Rock N Sock match was pretty good but it lacked something, although I am not sure what. I just never really got into it. The Lesnar and Goldberg match could have been way better. They should have wrestled more, I think each man did about 5 or 6 wrestling moves and stood there while the crowd boo'd the hell outta them for leaving WWE. And the Taker match lacked two things. The match was way to damn short AND Taker looked like the old Biker guy. He should have worn his old Deadman outfit. I give Wrestlemania 20 6/10, it should have been 20/10 because it was the twentyith annaversary. RAW DRAFT TIME: I watched the draft tonight and was relieved with the picks. I bought tickets to RAW to see all the big names including Stone Cold, HHH, Ric Flair, HBK, Randy Orton, ect. With the exception of HHH I was happy with how things turned out. I think that raw got the better of the deals. Hell Heyman quit at the end cause he got drafted by raw! Ha! All in all I think this raw was pretty Bad Ass. Not exactly what it used to be back in the good ol days of 97 98 and 99! LOL but was still pretty good. Till the next time we meet, That's the bottom line! - Austin 3:16 |
