Here is the tank again with some patch work done,
to fill in the place where the gas cap was. I have
mounted the indicating lites and the ignition switch.

Here shows The Impliment seat, and also how I ran
the gear shift out the left side, just under the seat.
Here it is simple to just let the left hand drop onto
the gear shift. Learning to shift left handed, takes some
time. Once I mastered it, I liked it.

I hinged a pannel on the side, up front, where I could
access the wiring, the clutch, and the brake, master
cylinder. I also put a removeable panel up in front.
I hinged the door on the side with hidden hinges, and
fastened it with 1/4 turn fasteners

harold24.jpg
Here you see the rear seat, that I built out of 1/2 in.
plywood, and braced with flat bar steel. I had this
covered with foam, and shaped like a bucket seat.

harold25.jpg
The seats have been covered here. I had this done
at a upholstry shop. That impliment seat sure fits
my behind.

Here is the paint job before the stripping was done.

harold27.jpg
Here you see Yosemity Sam, on the gas tank. I have
jumbo red LEDs at the ends of his guns, that blink
when the brakes are applied.

harold28.jpg
This shows some of the strpping, and I have added
diamond tread alluminum, to the running boards.

harold29.jpg
You can see the striping, here in the rear. Also
some more of the diamond tread.

Here I am ready to ride, thanks to Floyd for the
help on the motor. I have since rebuilt a 1641 cc
engine and installed it on the trike.

harold28.jpg

Here is a recent shot of the first trike, I built. I have made some changes to it. I replaced the headlights with some round ones. I also have added this round spun aluminum gas tank which holds 10 gal. I also have the original 6 gal boat tank, which gives me 16 gal capacity. I plan on going to Sturgis South Dekota, Aug 7 th. 2004, and I felt I might need some more gas, prowling around the desert. I have a selector valve so I can switch between the 10 gal and 6 gal tank. Run on the 10 gal tank, and use the 6 gal for a reserve. I also changed the fenders from the painted ones to stainless steel. Rocks were playing havvock on the painted ones. They wanted 110 dollars to repaint them. If you look close you will see my passenger in the back seat. Her name is Whizzer and she loves to ride this trike about as well as I do. She will run a mile just to get to ride a foot.

Here is the latest change to my trike. I installed a set of Train Horns on it. I have a 12VDC. compressor, that builds 145 lbs. of air pressure, with a 1 gal. storage tank. When you blow these babies you will get attention. there bigger than the trike. ha (Not really).

This is a close up of the Train Horns. They really do stand out.

It is 2006 and I have had the old paint job for 6 yrs. now and it was getting pretty rough, so I decided to have it repainted with a new scheme. Here are 3 shots of what it looks like today, June 16, 2006.
