Gradually, due to the clash and cohesion caused by the external envoronment, our consciousness develops into an evolved life form. It seems that this movement towards some ultimate and all attractive force includes much more of the mind's identity than the objective part. This is not an idealistic struggle, a moral striving or even a God-fearing path, it is just the natural push of all organic life to plunge forth both up and down on a path of evolution. Thanks to this clash and cohesion in nature, our minds slowly develop in life to an intense happiness.
The eyes can ony receive certain bans of light, and the ears can only receive certain sound vibrations so vibrations too high or too low are not perceived. To discover how to align with consciousness takes even more sensitivity than this. Behind the crude outer body and all the thoughts identified with it is the subtle inner world, which is fundamentally linked with the internal and the external world simultaneously. Our consciousness encompasses the whole of nature including our instincts , and this unseen world is the world that causes love and happiness. It takes a tremendous amount of sensitivity to hear and see the inner voice of Truth, which is constantly proclaiming the unity of love and happiness.We cannot weigh or measure love and happiness, but that does not mean that they are not universal inspirations. To be good takes courage, determination, patience, kindness and careful attention to our thoughts and motives wo why are we good? We are good because the spiritual reward of love and the direct experience of happiness are worth the effort.
We need a new consciousness which gives a new concept of life that helps form a new humanity, both on the individual and community level. We need a consciousness that transcends biological evolution and starts spiritual evolution where one is spiritually and socially concerned with the material well being of all of humanity. Living beings conscious of the whole evolutionary process gradually learn of their true identity, duty and destiny where they realize new possibilities. Looking at old facts in a new way, one sees evolution as the ultimate effect of cooperating factors,intrinsic and extrinsic that lead to the ultimate goal of love and happiness.
