My oldest son told me that he was going to join scouts. I told him "great but don’t ask me to be involved". One hour a week was what the Scout council told me when they asked me to be the Scout Master of Troop 8 Ilion. They never told me how long that hour would last.
I’m very proud of the boys in this troop, they are very hard working boys. Always looking for ways to help their community.
My Son made Eagle along with seven other boys in the troop, my second son is at Life, along with five other boys. All of the boys in this troop have made a large difference in this community. Everyone in Ilion knows who is in Troop 8, and what we stand for.
