“Brian, who was that?” Val asked again, walking to the balcony. “Oh, ya see, that was¼” Brian stuttered. “Tell me now, please.” Val said getting a little angry. “Don’t be mad, baby.” Brian said embracing her, “It was just Kevin.” “Then why couldn’t you just tell me that?” Val questioned. “Because, well, we were¼ah, let’s just go into the other room, ok?” Brian asked sweetly. “All right.” Val agreed following him cautiously.
~Nick and Melissa~
“There ya go, baby.” Melissa said finishing cleaning up Nick. “Thank-you beautiful.” Nick smiled at her. “Are you sure you’re ok? In any pain?” Melly asked for the fifth time since the punch. “Yes, I’m just fine, stop worrying.” Nick said pulling her onto his lap. “I can’t help it, I feel bad, like I was responsible.” Melly sighed resting her head on his shoulder. “Stop it!” Nick yelled, “It was well worth the punch to get that guy locked up. We should all thank-you for noticing Steven there and using your quick thinking.” "Thanks, I guess you're right." Melly said sitting up, "I just hate that you had to get hurt." You're so sweet, but I swear, I'm okay." Nick laughed. " Okay." Melly said getting off his lap. "Hey, where ya going?" Nick asked. "To see if Bri and Val are all right over there." Melly turned and told him. "Let 'em be...they're prolly 'busy'." Nick said giving her one of his cheesy smiles. "Okay, you're definitely all right." Melly laughed. "See, I told ya..." Nick paused, "Besides you forgot to do one thing." "What?" Melly asked clueless. Nick tapped his finger against his chin. "How could I forget." Melly came over and kissed his injury. "Much better...now how bout..." Melly stopped Nick by hitting him in the arm. "How Did I Fall In Love With You?!" Melly giggled.
~Steven~
After sending Ethan & Jason off to jail, Steve went back to talk to Valerie and the others. ::KNOCK/KNOCK:: Steven knocked on Val and Brian's door. "Where can they be?!" He said nervously as he knocked a second time.
~Back to Brian & Val~
"Close your eyes." Brian said to her as they approached the dining area. "Why? I hate surprises." Val smiled. "Please, this is really special to me." Brian pouted. "All right, all right." Val said shutting her eyes and taking Brian's hand. Brian led her to the dining room just as there was a knock at the door. "Ah, who can that be?" Brian said in disappointment. "I could be my brother, just checking to see if we're okay after everything happened." Val said with her eyes still shut. "After what happened?" Brian asked ignoring the first knock. "Can I open my eyes and tell you?" Val laughed. "Of course." Brian responded quickly. "Well, while you were in here with Kevin, Ethan and his mom had already gotten to Nick and Mel. Words were exchanged between the four and Ethan was about to punch Nick when we arrived. So, as soon as he did, Steven arrested him." Val finished telling Brian. "Is Nick all right?" Brian asked concerned. "Oh yea, he's just fine. Melly is taking care of him." Val smiled, "But they got married!" "They did what?!" Brian yelled. "Yea, I was so shocked when I heard Nick call himself Melissa's husband to Ethan's mom." Val said. "Did you question them?" Brian asked, " I mean, they promised their parents they wouldn't!" "No, I totally forgot after the punch. Tomorrow we should." Val smirked. ::KNOCK/KNOCK:: was heard for the second time. "We should get that." Brian said walking to the door. "Finally!" Steven yelled, "I thought something was wrong and I'd have to bust the door down!" "Oh, no, no...I was just about to surprise Val." Brian told him. "Oh, shit, I'm sorry. I didn't know." Steven apologized. "Well, now you do...so bye, bye. I want my surprise." Val said shutting the door. "Wait, you wanna do breakfast tomorrow? Since you guys are leaving town soon and today's breakfast didn't work out so well." Steven asked. "Yea, sounds great." Val smiled. "Okay, go get that surprise...and I'll go check on Melissa and Nick." Steven finished as the door slammed in his face, "Bye." He laughed.
"So, where's my surprise?" Val said excitedly. "I thought you hated surprises?" Brian laughed at her. "I do, but I'm really curious about what Kevin and you did." Val said. "All right, in the dining room." Brian said pointing to the door. The two made it to the door and Val closed her eyes once again. "Ready?" Brian asked her. "Uhuh." Val said nervous but excited too. Brian opened the door and lead her in. "Open your eyes." He whispered into her ear. "Oh my, Brian, this is beautiful." Val almost started to cry. "You like it?" He asked. "No, I love it! You re-created our first date." Val smiled widely.
~Ethan, Elaine and Jason~
"Why do I always trust you?" Jason asked Ethan. "Shut-up, you want Val don't you!?" Ethan snapped back. "Of course I do...but we're just pushing them away now." Jason said using his brain. "Relax boys." Elaine said, "I'll try to get you guys out of here and we'll do everything and anything to make those girls yours." "Thanks mom." Ethan smiled. "Don't mention it, Noone hurts my baby twice. Those pretty girl don't know who they are messing with here." Elaine laughed. "What are you gonna do?" Jason asked Elaine. Jason was the only one with a conscious and didn't wanna see Val or Melly hurt. "I said don't worry." Elaine said firmly, "If they don't let you out, I'll take matters into my own hands."
~Back with Nick and Melly~
"Easy." Nick said answering Melly's question, "I'm so easy to fall in love with." "Oh yea sure...you're just wonderful." Melly laughed as there was a knock at the door. "I know because that's what you said last night." Nick yelled to her as she opened the door.
"Hey Steven, come on in." Melly welcomed him. "Thanks, how is our Nicky doing?" Steven directed towards Nick. "I'm cool. He didn't hit me that hard." Nick said. "Did you check on Val and Brian?" Melly asked worried as usual. "Oh yes, I did, they're fine too." Steven started to laugh, "They actually threw me out because Brian had a surprise for my sister." "Aww, well, you can hang out with us." Melly offered. "Thanks but I better get to the station and fill out the paper work on those two jerks." Steven said. "Yeah, try and keep them in their until the trial." Nick said. "I'll do all I can do." Steven assured them. "Thanks, will you be around tomorrow?" Melly asked. "Yea, actually, I made plans to go to breakfast with the two next door, why don't you join us?" "Sounds good. See'ya then." Nick said shaking his hand. "Great, have a good night." Steven said as he headed out to the station.
"So, I wanna go dancing!" Melly exclaimed. "What? now?" Nick asked. "Yea, but if your not up to it, its okay." Melly said getting sad knowing Nick couldn't resist her. "Argh, let's get ready." He said as she kissed his cheek on her way to get ready.
~Meanwhile w/ Bri & Val~
"Yummy, so yummy, how did you get Mario's Restaurant to deliver?" Val asked wiping her mouth. "I just did some serious begging and gave the owner tickets for his daughters." Brian laughed. "It all looks amazing." Val smiled, "You got everything right...the Italian music, the lighting, well, everything!" "I should of, I remember that night, as if it was yesterday." Brian smiled. "I was so happy that you agreed to give me a chance." "I'm glad I did too, I love you." Val leaned over the candlelit table and kissed him. "Love you too, that's why I wanna marry you." Brian looked straight in her eyes. "Brian..." Val started to say. "I know, you have issues with marriage and I know we agreed to just be together without marriage but..." Val stopped him this time. "Yes." was all Val said. "What did you say?" Brian asked in shock. "I said yes, yes I will marry you." Val smiled at the huge smile that formed on Brian's face. "For real?" Brian had to double check. "For real, you went through all this trouble, just to prove to me how much you love me and I wanna be legally yours forever." Val told a very happy Brian. "Yahoo!" Brian yelled as he got up from his chair. He went over to Valerie and picked her up in his arms. He carried her in the living room, where he built a fire in the fireplace and began to massage her. The two would go from massaging each other on the white, fluffy carpet in front of the fire, to making love within twenty minutes. They ended up spending the rest of the night there celebrating their engagement.
~Elaine~
"So, the police won't let me post bail for the boys, I'll just have to take care of the girls myself, one at a time." Ella said as she pulled up to the hotel. "Ah, just my luck, there's Melissa and Nick now." she smiled, "I'll just follow them and take care of one of the two right now."
~Melly & Nick~
"Damn, you look hott tonight!" Nick exclaimed as they got in the cab, "Every guy is going to check you out...and I'm gonna have to fight them off!" "You do that...but remember I only have eyes for you." Melly laughed. The two headed to a local dance club with Ella hot on their heals.
~At the Club~
Nick and Melly danced for 3 hours straight, some slow and seductive and others fast and flirtatious. "We better go home soon because I dunno how much longer I can resist you." Nick whispered in her ear. "Hehe, well, let's get some drinks, relax a few minutes and then head out." Melly said back to him over the music. "Deal baby...what drink do you want?" Nick asked. "Uhm, grab me a Smirnoff Ice." Melly answered him. "Aight, meet ya back at the table." Nick said kissing her on the lips. "I'll be there waiting. "Melly said as she turned to walk to the table and Nick went to the bar. Melly was making her way through the crowd, when someone grabbed her from behind. "Nick, that was quick." Melly giggled. "I'm not Nick." a women’s voice said to her, "And if you yell for Nick or make any moves to draw attention, you'll regret it. Just keep walking out of the club." Melly did as the stranger said and before she knew it, she was blindfolded and tied in this person's car, heading for an unknown destination.
