Introduction to  the Parish Council of Trowse with Newton

The parish Mission Mission statement:

To support,  protect and advise  the people of Trowse..

The secular parish of Trowse with Newton is on the South side of the City of Norwich..  The village has around 400 people most of whom work in the City of Norwich.

A secular parish is the smallest unit of  administration in the United kingdom although one of the most vibrant parts of village life.

The parish council and the people of Trowse are currently campaigning against the park and ride proposals of  Norfolk County Council which will create environmental damage in the village and be a threat to the health and safety of villagers. See  this link for details.
