TRPAG APPEALS TRICAST DECISION. TRPAG have lodged an appeal with An Bord Pleanala against Louth County Council's decision to grant Tricast permission to commence the development of Balfeddock. Balfeddock is an un-zoned agricultural area located some distance out from the traditional village boundary. The site of the proposed development has over several years been used for agricultural purposes, and as such offers employment to the local populace. In appealing the decision, we now know that a crop will be harvested in this area again this year, and should the appeal prove to be successful, we hope that many crops will be farmed on this field for years to come!
