Excursions
Ston is a small picturesque town, with a great medieval wall near it. It is the second longest still standing wall in the world, after the Chinese Great wall. Additionally it has numerous cultural and historical monuments.

The town is situated near a large, Europe’s oldest, salt pan, in the back of the bay. Ston is famous for its oysters and mussels. You can have some at the local restaurant or just pick some up to prepare yourself.
Korcula
Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is rich in cultural and historical monuments.

The City itself dates back to the 6th and 7th century and entered its Golden Age in the 16th. Dubrovnik reached magnificent levels of achievement in its urban and architectural development that has been maintained to the present day.

There is also the annual Dubrovnik Summer Festival the largest and most celebrated cultural event in Croatia. It is an outpouring of music, theatre and dance that attracts an all-star line up of international performers and visitors to the unique setting of the indoor and open-air stages of this Renaissance/Baroque city.
From the town of Orebic you can take the ferry to the island of Korcula. The island itself is rich in art and culture, as well as beautiful nature. The main town on the island also named Korcula is a medieval walled Dalmatian city, with its round defensive towers and cluster of red-roofed buildings.

Marco Polo, the famous world-traveller, writer and merchant, is reputed to have been born in the old town of Korcula. His house of birth is open to visitors. In addition, Korcula has long art and cultural traditions, including museums, galleries and festivals.
Ston
Divna & Duba
As well as the many beaches in Trpanj, you are only a short drive away from the splendid beaches of Divna and Duba.
Trpanj is also an ideally located for day trips to Ston, Dubrovnik, Korcula, Mljet and Medjugorje
Divna is a beach on the road from Trpanj to Duba. There is no village and it is a splendid untouched corner of nature.

Duba is a small village of 50, located at the foot of the St. Ilija hill, the highest peak on the Pelješac peninsula. It is concealed by a crevice and reveals its true beauty at the end of the winding road from Trpanj.
