Years ago about 100,000 years ago, dinosaurs roamed the earth. Some people lived in caves. Some lived underground.
Today I will be talking about a family that lives in a cave, the McGrifens. Young Matt and a friend named Kevin were walking home from school. Matt is bummed because he got a 75 on a math test.
Matt started kicking rocks and then saw a strange looking rock. MMMM... Kevin does this rock look familiar to you? Yeh, Yeh, it looks like a dinosaur fossil. It does, it does!!!!
Let’s go to your house first. If we don’t find anything on it, then we will go to my house. Meanwhile, back at home Mr. McGrifen was taking a nap. Mrs. McGrifen was picking up Julie from daycare.
Back at Kevin’s house Matt and Kevin were looking in all the books they could find. Matt aside, “I FOUND IT, I FOUND IT!!!!!” What does it say? It says that it is a Tisorasrecs backbone and that it is most likely to be about 400 years old.
“That is so cool Kevin.” Let’s go show our parents. They will be so proud of us. MOM, DAD LOOK WHAT WE FOUND!!!! WOO... That is amazing! How’d you find such a thing? Well, I was kicking rocks on the way home and I saw a strange looking rock. So I picked it up and showed Kevin and ran to his house and looked it up. We found out that it is a Tiasorasrecs backbone piece.
When Matt McGrifen and Kevin McDonnell grew up they both got a scholarship in history and math and English and science. Those scholarships gave them both a great job and life. They traveled the world and found out that the more that the kids learned, the more the gods gave them. Discipline became more and more important.
Matt McGrifen noticed that there was no color when he was a kid, but now there was colors of all kinds. Matt McGrifen and Kevin McDonnell had never fought about anything, but one day Matt and Kevin had one disagreement and never talked again.
When Matt had gotten a very deadly cancer in his bones, he was living in a hospital to get it stopped. He was in the hospital for two weeks, then he died. At that moment Kevin knew that that was the punishment for that fight that they had and never talked again.
Everyone that knew and loved Matt came to his funeral. He had gotten a white coffin with white and pink roses. The roses covered the coffin and the ground around it.
