   TRUCK DRIVING

My Truck with 3 Trailers in Medford Oregon.

I have been driving for Saia Motor Freight out of the Fresno, California Terminal since October 2002.

I have a day run from Fresno to Grants Pass, Oregon and back the next day.

I make 3 turns one week and 2 turns the next, with weekends off.
I started driving Over The Road (OTR) in 1991. There have been many companies I have driven for, and I believe that the experience I have had, makes me a good person to write about the Trucking industry.

If you are thinking about getting into the Wonderful, exciting world of Interstate Trucking, but don't know who to ask, or what questions to ask. This is the informative truck driving site, that I wish was out there when I started driving.

Everything you wanted to know about Truck Driving ,but didn`t know who to ask...

   MOTORCYCLES

2001 Yamaha Roadstar 1602cc

This is my motorcycle.

I bought it new in November 2000. It is mainly stock but I have made some changes:
Handle bars, grips, throttle & clutch lines, white wall tires, exhaust pipes, air cleaner & carb jetting, and tank emblems...

I ride my bike every weekend. Sometimes up in the foot hills and mountains to the North or East of Fresno, or just around town.

I try to make most of the biker functions around the greater Fresno area.

This is my 4th Yamaha Street bike. It is the biggest and nicest bike I have ever had.

I take very good care of it and treat it like my second son. It has it's own room in the garage and I cover it at night.

I wash and wax it probably more than I should, but what else I do with my time?

When I wash, polish, and shine it takes 2 to 3 hours...

1982 Yahaha Virago XV920

This is my old bike. I bought it used in 1985 and had this bike for about 16 years. It always ran great for me and I had no problems with it for years. In 2000 the starter gears became disconnected and I took it to a mechanic to take the side case off and see what happened inside there.

I bump started it and rode it over to him. He took it apart and and found out that a keeper clip had fallen behind the flywheel and he needed to remove it. He removed the flywheel, but didn't put it back the same way he took it off, and when he was done, and started the bike, the piston came up the broke the valve.

He refused to fix it, and I was forced to sue him in small claims court. I won the case. But he appealed to a higher court and won.  I got nothing. I had to pay him for braking it.

   MEET THE FAMILY

This is my son Kyler and I. Feb 2004

My wife was tired of hearing about how much I wanted a digital camera so she bought me one so I would shut up about it.

I am a regular shutterbug. I am taking pictures that normal people wouldn't. Digital is free... I take them anyway.

The trick is going to be, when I take pictutes of my family and friends, I need their approval before I post them here on my web site to share.

So far, every picture has been turned down...
