Awards will be given to fiction that is primarily centered around Pacey and Joey that have been completed between July 5, 2004and July 8, 2005.

Stories eligible for nomination in either the Completed Fan Fiction categories must be completed by July 8, 2005. The Conitinuing Fic Section , where on-going fan fiction may be nominated, has no completion date.

The chairpersons will select a team leader for the fiction section.

The team leader and the chairpersons will select primary judges and one alternate judge. The team leader will also serve as a judge.

Note: If any judge is nominated for a certain category, the alternate judge will take his or her place for that category only.

The chairperson and the team leader will develop categories for nominations.

Nominations will be accepted, starting July 8.

End of nomination: July 31.

The chairperson and team leader will take the five top nominations from each category to distribute to the judging team for review.

Each judge will choose the best privately and submit the results to both the chairperson and their team leader. Judges can only talk to their lead judge at this time and no other judge. To remain fair and impartial, no judge can influence another judge in any way. Tentative Deadline for judges: August 15.

Results will be posted on the website on to be announced.

Winners will also be notified, given their awards and asked to give a few comments and a link to their work for the website.

Other important points:

The pieces can involve the other characters of Dawson's Creek, but it must be primarily about Pacey and Joey. The judges will make their own call if it's worthy of "a True Love".

We had previously noted that all nominations must come with a link to the piece posted somewhere on the web. This will only be the case for the ART SECTION. For fan fiction nominations, you do not have to post a link, however, in order for a story to qualify judges must be able to find it somewhere on the web.
