Welcome to the Style portion of my page!
Antiques, Antiques, Antiques!!!
I will be replacing these two pictures with one. This piece I found in Round Rock. It needed a little TLC, and at the time of these pics, it was unfinished. It is an Oak German Kitchen Cupboard, from the Mid 1800's. It is really heavy, but it is in nice condition. If the right offer came along, I could be tempted to part with it...
This piece is a bonnet Dresser. It is made from Walnut I think and is from the 20's. It is in excellent condition, and I could be tempted to part with this one too. . The small cupboard on the right side was made for storing a bonnet or hat. I bought it on a trip wandering back to Texas from Ohio.
As you can see, I have a love for oak. This is a Sessions Oak Regulator Clock from 1900-1912. It too was found on the Ohio trip, and was given to me by a very precious person as a gift. Thank you again Cheryl, I will always cherish it. There is not enough money in Fort Knox to tempt me with this one. It keeps perfect time, chimes the hour, and had that lovely tick, tock, tick, tock sound to slow the pace of the room.
This is the fountain in my Entryway. It is not old, but the sound of the water trickling, can ease any cares away. It weighs like 300 pounds though!
