AN ADDRESS OF WELCOME BY THE
WOMEN OF
TRUE WORSHIPPERS' MINISTRY, ABAKALIKI, ON OUR 2004 WOMEN WEEK CELEBRATION, 10/10/2004 Fellow brethren in the Salvation race. I bring you joyous greetings from the women arm of this great Ministry of Christ - True Worshippers Ministry. Abakaliki. We salute you all with superlative encomium. For your individual And collective efforts towards reaching the unreached with the Word Of God and Christ-like attitude that truly portray us as not only the Children of the supreme God but also heirs together in the Vineyard of the Father. Out theme this year: "The Beauty & Strength Of a Godly Woman" is a red-hot spiritual analysis that can keep any women on the go-go spiritually. Once more, we are here gathered to celebrate Christ, to celebrate womanhood, To celebrate the goodness of the Most High God and to cherish this great Work and creation of God called "Women" in their strive to press toward Perfection in the cross, carrying business of preaching Christ, salvation, and Healing to all
mankind.
Today marks the end of a "3" day annual and divine ritual "Women's Week" that has been instituted by the True Worshippers' Ministry since Her inception as a way of giving the women a level playing ground with Their male counterparts in the Gospel business, giving the mothers a Sense of belonging in the body of Christ, accessing the women's performance Each passing year, bringing to the drawing table their projects and prospects, Creating a forum for talent haunt among the mothers category in the church And exposing the women to some serious spiritual fatigue and exposure-the Trade mark of contemporary handmaids of the Lord. However, this is a showcase of our report card
in the Church.
When in 22nd verse of Genesis Chapter 2, God made the woman and brought her unto the man, the man hive
a sigh of relief in appreciation
of God's Handiwork knowing that the
new blood has been injected
into him that will on her own propel
her higher heights in all areas
of human endeavor. The Creation of
women is God's own way of
bringing a positive difference bothIn the secular world and the
church-a difference that is reflecting today in Varied fields.
An X-ray of the secular and spiritual world reveals that the number of Women in varied category of schools is doubling that of men. In the Church Today, men only occupy few rows of seats, while women take over the rest. In the same manner, women of substance have token over strategic positions In the offices and business: The person in charge of finance in the nation Today is a woman, the proud receipt of multiple international awards Dr. (Mrs.) Dora Akunyili is a women, the "Model First Lady" among the 34 First ladies in Nigeria is a woman, Her Excellency, Mrs. Eunice Ukamaka Egwu and all the Presidents of the world, Heads of work power-nations, etc. were all born of a woman. Most of those who performed welfare and caring duties in the Bible, were mostly women. So, you can see that women Are by no means, a mean creation before God. Brethren, with the same progressive spirit and under the divine and Inspirational tutelage of our spiritual Father and Mother Rev. Pastor (Mrs.) Daniel Ogbonnaya Ukor, the women of this ministry has been able to achieve the following: (a) We have over the year maintained a balanced and steady-barrage of intercessory prayers which has showered protection over the church, her members and friends 2000 kilometers radius. (b) We have worked tirelessly spiritually and physically to record safe birth deliveries in the church. (c) We have worked willingly and happily equipped the church with chairs, cushions, pulpits and domestic equipment like cooking utensils, etc. (d) We've been able to care for the Church as a baby owned by a team of caring mothers who operate in Unity and (e) We've been able to recognize that we still have a few other problems, which is invariably the first step towards solving them. Reference Must be made to the children auditorium, which is still under construction as a training pool for the David's of tomorrow and the Jonathan's of today, but starting off is one thing and accomplishment is another. We pray that the Lord should use us to accomplish this great purpose. May God use us to fulfill this in Jesus Name-AMEN! Finally, As we are engaged in the heavenly race, let it be known to us women that God who appointed us mothers, and women of the Gospel is able to keep us at all times. I urge all of us to hold tight to our faith in Christ and battle any circumstances that will come to divert us especially at this
point in history
when the devil is fast seeking for his disciples of
doom.
Hold your heads high as a Godly woman, whose beauty & strength has vowed to truly worship Him in truth and spirit. We as the gospel women should demonstrate the difference in this era of corruption and total decline of our morale values. Even though the battle may tarry all night, the joy cometh in the morning. It's time to prove your mettle if of a truth you are a "Godly woman." Arise and show your spiritual beauty and strengthen. Welcome to our Joyful feast-The Women's week closing ceremonies.
