DBZ Shrine's MAGIC: The Gathering |
Card of the week is: Elvish Piper |
If you are thinking about starting Magic: The Gathering, it is bestt to start off with the 8th edition starter set, complete with 2 decks, a fully functional CD rom game, and a free subscription to Magic: Online. Also grab some Torment packs, for black, Oddesy for red, Onslaught for white and blue, and Legions also, for just an all around mix... |
My personal favorite card is Quicksilver Dragon. Great artwork by Ron Spencer, pretty decent stats (5/5 with flying) and a kickass ability. For one blue, you can change the target of a spell form Quicksilver Dragon to any other monster on the field. Like, if your opponent played a Hand of Death, you could change it to one of his creatures, destroying it instead... |

For all your Magic singles needs, and, indeed for your booster pack and booster box needs too, go to www.cardkingdoms.com for great prices and, well, more great prices. That site is where all these Magic pictures come from, so if someone who works at Card Kingdoms sees this site, they should know I mentioned them... |

Rating:9/10 Where to begin? Which creature to play first? So many combo's, so little time!! Do I even need to start listing them? Krosan Cloudscraper on turn 5! Anything on turn 5! For only 1 mana!!! The only weakness to this card is it's low power/toughness, for it can get provoked and killed quite easily. Power/Toughness: 0/5 Mana Cost: 2/5 Combo's: 5/5 Art: 4/5 On a more personal note, this card has saved my @$$ many a time in a magic game. |
