It is impossible to separate yourself from the universe.
You are one and the same.

Accept the importance of balancing opposites --
light and  dark,
positive and negative,
masculine and feminine--
for they cannot exist alone.

Try being as an infant,
knowing nothing except what you hear, see, smell and feel.

Accept that there are things that cannot be possessed or controlled, air and water cannot be cut or clutched, and their flow
ceases when they are enclosed.

You can not put an ocean in your pocket.

Thoughts grow in brains as grass grows in fields.

Denying ourselves the right to live life our own way
destroys the natural universal harmony-- you can not force nature so why force humans when they will harmonize naturally if left to their own devices.

Straightening our life is rather like trying to push a piece of string or straightening water...

Take time to observe water in all the forms it takes, rain, droplets, trickles, spray, waves and torrents.

Live life your own way, and have the courtesy to allow others to do the same.

As a plant grows from the seed, expanding from within, so it is with us.

Nature is a whole and only we choose to sperate oureselves from the rest of it with labels.

Look closely at individual aspects of the universe and you will discover conflict.  But look at the universe as a whole and you will find balance and harmony.

Everything that happens in our lives is our doing, action and reaction.

Go with the grain, roll with the punch, swim with the current, trim the sails to the wind, take the tide at flood.

One uses the least amount of energy in dealing with a structured life.

Many have wasted a long life.  Their lives have been lived in fear and death and in search of some uknown future thing.
