Elizabeth Ann Dupy Information and Descendants

   Elizabeth Ann Dupy was born on September 15, 1841 in Preble county, Ohio and died on February 10, 1920 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.  She married Monroe Keifer on March 19, 1865 in Lee county, Iowa.  He was born on March 15, 1832 in Pennsylvania and died on August 11, 1921 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana..  Both Elizabeth and Monroe are buried at Gueydan Cemetery in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.  They had three children, Mae Marie, Lydia, and Hattie Keifer.

Children:

     Mae Marie Keifer was born in 1867 in Lee county, Iowa.  She married Lambert Scott Folkland, who was born on August 12, 1871 in New Boston, Lee county, Iowa and died on January 23, 1942.  Mae and Lambert had four children:
     Arla Jeanette Folkland, born on December 19, 1894 at New Boston, Lee county, Iowa and died on February 22, 1992 at Beaumont, Texas.
     Audrey Ernestine Folkland, born on September 18, 1896 at Crowley, Louisiana and died in May of 1982 at Beaumont, Texas.
    Leslie Monroe Folkland, who was born on June 27, 1900 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana and died in February of 1978.
    Ema Vae Folkland, who was born on October 2, 1902 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana and married Doug Mattingly.  They had two children, Douglas N. and Martin Nicholas Mattingly.

    Lydia Keifer was born on December 16, 1871 in Lee county, Iowa and died on July 18, 1947 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.  She never married.

   Hattie Keifer was born on September 11, 1877 at New Boston, Lee county, Iowa and died on April 11, 1956 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.  She married Ted F. Riley on May 24, 1899 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.  He was born on August 30, 1870 and died on November 20, 1958 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.  Hattie and Ted had two children, Harland Riley, who was born on May 11, 1905 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana and died on August 16, 1972 at Lafayette, Louisiana.  He married Josephine Cripes.  The second child was Gordon D. Riley, who was born on October 30, 1909 at Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, Louisiana and died on October 17, 1977 at Alexandria, Louisiana.  He married Elizabeth Lee Carroll.  They had two children, Carol and Frank Riley.
