THE VAMPIRICAL CHAMELEON

A Secularized Messiah

1: Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed.

2: All life is vampirical; it feeds on one another for fuel.

3: Man is an animal, an organic psychosomatic unity
(nephesh, body = soul), the earth is his heaven.

4: Man's biological distinction is reason: the faculty which
identifies and integrates the data provided by his senses.

5: Man is an end in himself, not the means to the ends of others.

With reason largely unidentified as the source of an ongoing revolution in human development, to the old order of altruism and faith he is a destroyer -- poisoning man, culture and soul.

A greater order is taking precedence, exiling, alienating the old. An order based on rationality.

This order is the inverse of man's historical altruistic values. It is the expulsion of religion and socialism -- which are manifest fear of individuality.

Two seeming opposites coalesce into a single being: it is the creator who smashes the values of old. He is the breaker, the law-breaker, it is he who inscribes new values on new tables.

He who is a creator of new values -- of new culture -- has to be a destroyer of old values -- of old culture. By its nature the creation of a new value marks the devaluation and decline of the old. Thus the greatest evil belongs with the greatest good. This, however, is the creative good.

Vampirical in assimilating the strengths -- shedding the weaknesses -- of all values in a global arena of innovation where one shrewd thought devours another.

The chameleon is a rage to order, formation and transformation, a syncretization of partials and patterns in a precarious dance of simultaneous worship and destruction.

6: A Civilization of Messiahs

A worldwide marketplace of self-chosen apostates, vampires, satans, and chameleons competing -- through abstract integration -- to unlock the elementals and intrigues of a universal grid of existence.

The appointed referee of this great game? The international rule-maker for all rule-breakers, the World Trade Organization.

Tear down the walls to information and trade. The products of trade -- like a Trojan horse -- carry the inseparable message of the philosophy that creates and distributes them: individual empowerment.

Free trade re-baptizes the human animal away from God and altruism, back to earth and ego, to rationality, to a civilization of secularized messiahs.
