This is winter photograph of Mason and Fannie Davis farm house, they were my Granduncle and Grandaunt. They lived one mile east of the grandfolks on the same section of land they bought together with their dad Charles Edward Davis beginning about 1926/1927. This house is about two miles from Sterley Texas by Country road then a mile on a dirt country road to get to the location of the old Mason Davis farm house. The house is no longer there as it burned down quite a few years ago but Jerry Davis built a replacement there right after. My Grandfolks home was a mile West of Mason's house also at the end of the dirt road and Mason's the end of another.
