Lake Charles, LA.-- McNeese State scored four runs in the seventh inning to pull away from Texas Southern 7-2 in a non-conference match-up. Jason Roy was the top Tiger hitter with a 2-4 performance with a double. Calvin Fugett added two hits and Stephen Cotton added a double and a run batted in.

Orlando Terry picked up the loss for the Tigers, logging four innings with four earned runs and five strikeouts. The Tigers return to action in its home opener, noon, February 10 against Texas A&M Corpus-Christi at MacGregor Park.
