The Tiger Paw Club is the official tax-exempt, fundraising arm of Texas Southern University intercollegiate athletics. The primary purpose of the club is to raise funds for student-athlete development. A full scholarship (room, board, books and tuition) costs just over $6,500. An out-of-state scholarship is nearly $13,500. When you make a tax deductible donation, you are ensuring that Texas Southern has the support needed to help young men and women maintain "Excellence in Achievement" both on and off the field. What you give comes back to you in the form of Texas Southern Athletics benefits. The Tiger Paw Club's number one priority is to generate scholarships for student-athletes with other priorities including travel, equipment and overall competitiveness. With the support of Tiger Paw Club members nationwide, TSU can continue to shine among the NCAA's elite while being a competitive member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

How Can I Help?

Your membership in the Tiger Paw Club makes a difference in the quality of athletics at Texas Southern University. We are looking to establish at least 200 key members of the club to play a vital role in the development, by holding office and assisting with marketing efforts. Tiger Paw Club Meeings

Tiger Paw General Meetings are held the third Thursday of every other month. Meetings will take place in Room 155 in the Health & Physical Education Arena at 6:30 p.m., however, committees can meet as many times as they want.

Athletics Tiger Paw Club Compliance

The Tiger Paw Club falls under the direction of the University's development office. Its annual goal is to assist the athletic department in providing resources for supplemental expenses while adhering to NCAA rules and regulations.

NOTE: Representatives of an institution's athletic interests (i.e. alumni, athletic donors, and friends) are prohibited from making any types of contact (in person, written or by phone on or off-campus) with a prospective student-athlete or the prospect's relative or legal guardians. How Do I Become a Member?

Membership into the Tiger Paw Club is an annual fee of $200. Once you become a member, you can join the committee of your choice. Just fill out the online MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION, enclose payment and mail to:
