Tours are supposed to be the highlight of a player's career but all too often they end up being the same old thing in the same old place. Why not do something different and come to a place that not only has great rugby but great off field entertainment and culture.
Kobe lies in the heartland of Japanese history and rugby. Close to the ancient capitals of Nara and Kyoto it is also home to such illustrious teams as Kobe Steel, World, and the Kobe Regatta and Athletic Club while Doshisha University and Toyota are a short train journey away.
Kobe is the perfect place to tour in that while it is an international city it is also very compact. After a quick introduction from a TSUNAMI rep as to what to look for etc. the fun of touring can begin.
TSUNAMI will not only arrange fixtures, accommodation, sightseeing trips etc. but will also provide guides to show the tourists the beauty and culture of Japan as well as some of the many 'watering spots' found in the Kansai area.
A week long tour to the Kansai area would involve 2 to 3 games; trips to Nara and Kyoto; shopping in Osaka; and plenty of time to partake in the local delicacies.
