Make your Father's Day gifts as unique as the dads who will be getting them.   These are kid-friendly craft ideas that will be fun for everyone!
Kids' Touch T-Shirt
Materials Needed:

     T-Shirt
     Fabric Paint
     Children
     Newspaper

First find an area to work that is clean and safe to work with paint (basement, patio, or garage are suitable).   Take a T-shirt, preferably new and washed once, and place newspaper (folded flat) inside of it.  Then lay the T-shirt on a flat surface.  Using fabric paint, paint the hands of the child or children and have them carefully place handprints randomly on the shirt.  For the most colored fun, make each hand a different color.  Let the shirt dry for at least one hour, which will give you time to clean the little hands (the fabric paint is actually not bad to clean off while it is wet).  After the paint has dried for a while, carefully write across the front of the shirt:  World's Best Dad, Hands Down.  Let paint dry for 24 hours before moving or folding it.  Depending on the gift recipient, Dad can be replaced with Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle, or any familiar name used.  I usually put the children's names on the shirt somewhere with the year, so it doubles as a keepsake!

Another great T-shirt idea with a similar concept is to follow the directions above, except paint the little feet instead of the little hands.  Have the child or children carefully place foot prints all over the shirt.  After the paint has dried for about an hour, carefully write:  My Children Walk All Over Me.  Again, children can be replaced with kids, grandkids, or any other relationship you wish to express.

Experiment with prints and what you can make them into.  I have seen angels, flowers, turkeys, reindeer, and many other interesting objects expressed with hand and/or foot prints!
