This is a delightful story about dealing with a broken heart.  After being taken advantage of and then dumped by her long-time boyfriend, a women takes solace in canning.  Witty comments and great recipes included!

Encore Provence by Peter Mayle
Third in the series of Provencal adventures starring Peter Mayle with his wife as the best supporting actress.  I enjoyed this book as much as the first two.  Refreshing descriptions, alluring backgrounds, provocative French cuisine, and daily adventures that make the ordinary seem extraordinary.
