We recycle!
Service industries produce a large volume of waste. Packaging, for bulk materials or individual items, accounts for a large amount of our garbage. Indian Hills Animal Clinic is no exception in this area. However, we do our part for the community and the environment by recycling as much of our trash as we possibly can. Here's what we sort out for reuse:
to local firestation dropoffs:
corrugated cardboard
plastic bottles
(from distilled water, bleach,
rubbing alcohol, shampoos, Pepsis and Cokes, and pills)

newspaper
steel and aluminum cans
old magazines
from the waiting room

to Wal-Mart and Winn Dixie:
plastic grocery and shopping bags

to the Salvation Army Thrift Store:

styrofoam coolers
(used to ship vaccines)
old computer parts

to Waste Management:
mixed office paper

We encourage you to recycle as much waste as you can, too -- at home or at your place of business.
