Provisions/Game

Cleaning Game killed by the Masters,
First, if the Master is around ask if He wants to keep the rack (horns), if not remove them and put them in the storage wagon for those who are making things from the horns.  Next skin the animal carefully, keeping the hide in one piece, put it in the shed for the ones who are curing hides.  Then gut the animal, saving the gut for casings for sausages (you must sterilize them in a solution of water and disinfectant, then hang them up to dry) and the bladders (sterilize them and set them to dry) store in the Provisions wagon.  Cut the meat into roasts et. put meat in the cooler

Curing, Preserving Meats. meats can be dried and made into jerky, hung up and smoked like hams, salted down in barrels, canned or frozen in the winter.  Jerky, potting meat, preserving wild game.  drying foods, seeds, nuts, fruit leathers

Making arrows, gather straight sticks, feathers, strip the stick of bark, shape it so one end is narrower than the other, attach a metal arrowtip to one end of the stick (get from the store) and use leather twine to attach the feathers to the other end.  You must always have a Free watch you as you do this job.  Turn the arrows over to the Free as soon as you are done.

Making Spears,  same as above, except on a larger scale.

Making bows.  you must find a pliant stick (size can vary, you make large or small bows) strip it of bark, shape it so its flat on both long sides and tapers towards the ends, then notch the two ends and attach the string... you will probably need to bend the bow over your leg in order to attach the string to the second end.

Making Kurts, Whips from leather.  Get the leather from the storage wagon, the strands of the whip are usually braided, the handle can be made from hornor wood (if you wish to carve it, ask permission to use a quiva)

Leatherwork making purses, boots etc. from leather which is in the storage wagon.  Make a pattern then cut our the leather (get permission to use scissors or a quiva) Then sew the leather - you may tool a design (tooling means cutting slightly into the leather to make the design, get permission to use a small quiva) dye the leather with a design or leave it plain.

Making needles
. Carve little slender bits of bone, sharpen one end and put an eye in the other (ask permission to use a quiva)

Making spoons/other implements. Take tabuk/bosk, etc. horns, ask permission to use a quiva to carve, you can carve spoons, forks, cooking utensils, etc. from the horns.
