Winter is a classic British style Golden Retriever combining some nice bloodlines. He has earned his Canandian championship in April 2006, including a 5 point Best of Breed along the way. He also won the Canadian Bred class at the 2005 GRCC National Specialty. Since then he has won another BOB, and made the cut in Open Dog at a GRCA SPecialty under breeder judges. At the 2007 GRCC National Specialty, he won an Award Of Merit and the Field Dog Class under Marianne Holm-Hanson (Tallygold, Denmark), and qualified in obedience and field to win the Nan Gordon Trophy for versatility. He also won the Field Dog class under Jennifer Johnson the next day at the Quebec regional. Since then he has also earned his GRCA WCX, and CKC andAKC CD's.He is moderate in every sense of the word--coat, bone, head and size. He is short-coupled, correctly angulated, and possesed of lovely, efficient movement. He is a hard working, hard hunting dog, who is currently in transition training to prepare to run CdnWCX, and Senior Hunt Tests. He has been owner trained and handled to all of his wins and titles.
