A Little Light
There was a little light,
That was so bright.
You couldn’t fight,
With all of your might.
There was the little light,
You couldn’t keep her out of sight.
She could fight,
With all of her might.
And she’d still be a little light,
That was so bright.

Joan 2001The Youngest One
By
tulsa_hitz_jamz@yahoo.comShe’s the youngest of seven.
Like all the others,
She came from heaven.
Just like her big brothers,
She’ll show you her smile.
Even if you’ve only come a mile.
She doesn’t like to have her picture taken.
So, please, don’t try.
She’s not fakin’.
Please, don’t make her cry.

Though she was born last,
She stands at her mast.
Life is over too fast,
For her to be an outcast.
A Moment In Time With The Camera Shy Six
By
tulsa_hitz_jamz@yahoo.com
I never knew before,
That I should have wanted more.
When I saw the younger four, I knew.
Yet, those that actually have it are few.
They stood together.
If only forever.
Though it was fast,
I saw them at last.
It was but a moment in time.
And it was all mine.
Of course, they have parents too.
For all children do.
I saw him walking alone.
He’s the only dark one, you know.
Like his two oldest girls, he need not say a word.
Yet, you could not help but see the smile, O Lord.
They’re all more fair-haired, like their mother.
Whom talked to the crowd without a bother.
Inside, the oldest three, all boys, were waiting for dinner.
All nine of them sat at the table, not one a sinner.
Though they are from the Middle Of Nowhere,
They are in the Middle Of Everywhere.
The Little One

The Little one has blond hair,
Like those that came before her.
The one born before her is her pair.
Though, he’s not nearly as blond as her.
You’re all that I Think About
By
tulsa_hitz_jamz@yahoo.com
You’re all that I think about.
Just to look into your beautiful eyes.
You’re all that I think about.
When I look at her, I see you.
You’re all that I think about.
I see the look in a parent’s eye.
You’re all that I think about.
And I wonder "Will it ever happen?"
You’re all that I think about.
There are many things that I’m sure about.
You’re all that I think about.
One of those is that I love you.
You’re all that I think about.
I don’t even know you but I know this.
You’re all that I think about.
I love you more than anything.
You’re all that I think about.
We’re waiting for you.
You’re all that I think about.
In My Heart
By
tulsa_hitz_jamz@yahoo.com
You’re a blessing sent from above.
I know this, though I never felt it when I was young.
You will know it from the moment of your birth.
Everyone keeps telling me that, "It will happen."
Perhaps I should have more faith.
It just takes too much out of me.
Though, it is God that sends you to Earth.
When God sees His creation, He’ll leave you at our side.
Until that Day Has Come, you’ll be waiting in my heart.
