[02/05/02]

I haven't really been updating for a while. as you can see my car was hit by a suburban and it's currently being rebuilt right now. I wont be updating the site that much until I get my car back from the body shop and after I install some new toys in my car. The ol' Supra will be getting a fresh coat of paint and a little bit of exterior  enhancements.. nothing too flashy...

If you will take notice I added a new section called ETC... It's basically a miscellaneous page.. it has different info that does and doesn't directly relate to the Supra. As of a couple of days ago I added the instruction manuals for the HKS VPC and the supplement Instruction for the 87-88 Toyota Supra. I hope it will be usual to fellow automotive enthusiasts out there.

That's It for now...

[10/12/01]

Well I finally got my car back to good running condition a couple of weeks ago. the only thing I need to do now is to get a new downpipe done and get the car tuned..Opps almost forgot, I need to do an upper intake pipe too...

By the way I also got my new car a week or so ago. it's a 2002 911 Carrera coupe. The 911 is totally different from the Supra, the power on the 911 is instantaneous unlike the Supra which comes in a big whalloping burst. but it's all good though I know the Supra has more power :)

I can't really do anything to the Supra since Steve is currently driving it... his truck broke down so, he's using my Supra as his primary car right now...

peace out...

[09/02/01]

Nuthin much to really add on here, I just found out that I blew chunks of the head, damaged the o-ring and blew the metal head gasket off my Supra, Now I just need another head and a thicker head gasket, and hopefully within the next couple of weeks I can get my car running again. You can see the pics of the tear down in gallery 8. Were also gonna start on getting Steve's car running were hoping that we can do the motor and Turbo swap before the end of the month...If we're lucky we could have me, Dennis' and Steve's car at the Vegas Meet on October.

[08/29/01]

Since my mishap with the shakedown run last week.( I'll tell you guys later...I'm still not feeling too good. ) Last Sunday, Me , Dennis & Steve started the teardown on my Supra for the upteenth time. I'll post up some pics of the tear down. after a couple of days of lackluster of work, we finally separate the head from the block. (what do you expect from 3 guys who take breaks longer than the actual time they work. we usually start after 5:00 and get done by 8:00) low and behold I blew the Metal Head gasket..(and they say You can blow a MHG) the force was soooo strong that I blew chunks off the head and it blew the o-ring crooked too. The good news is that the Block was fine, no damage to the pistons or anything. I'll post some pics in the next couple of days.. I'm going back to bed, I'm still sick....

[08/26/01]

Yesterday was a good day. I got to see a ton of mk3's, mk4's and mk2's. The San Diego meeting of Socalsupras.com was a great success. We had a good representation of the different Supras that have been running around Southern California, too bad I wasn't able to see the race ready mk3. I hope he gets to fix soon. If you want any info regarding the event please go to http://www.socalsupras.com. The L.A. Caravan was pretty cool too we had about 10 Supras that went down to Diego, plus 3 drivers without their Supras (Me, Ronnie & Josh). Other than the stupid traffic to Diego it was pretty much fun. I hope to bring my car to the next event..

[08/21/01]

I got tired of using blogger since it suxs like a beyatch.. blogger can sux my turbo nut!!!! it looses so of my blogs.. damn thing lost like 4 blogs... i was too lazy to retype them.. so for the journal updates it'll be back to normal easy Microsoft Frontpage.. so stop hasselling me coz I don't know shit about html and crap like that.

[8/09/01]

it's been a while since I last posted crap here.

I just redid the 87 Supra Page added the new parts in my lists of mods. From last post = I finally got my car back!!! The only thing I need to do is get it tuned, there's a vacuum leak somewhere that I can't find and the car is running too rich.. I need to get an hks gcc, to better tune the Supra, Other than that the car feels strong, oil pressure is on the dot, doesn't fluctuate or anything. I finally added real supra seats on my car :). OH yeah! I got about 800 more miles of break-in period, so that means no revs over 3000 and 0 Boost pressure :(... After that it's Boosting time

well its been over a month since my last post here in the journal or is it 2 months.. well whatever.. my car is still not done i ran into a problem with teh waterline for the head, that took about a week or so to fix, i had to go to evry parst store form homedepot, earls, baker auto, ace hardware, pe boys, kragen to find the waterline bolt that I needed. what happened was some guy i dont know who retapped the waterline bolt for the cylinder head, since the original bolt wouldn't fit i had to go around and look for a bolt that would fit... I got so frustrated, i almost wanted to sell the damn car and engine to my friend steve... hopefully the bolt that I found will fit,, can't believe I'm using a bolt from a gas range ha ha ha .. Now, the next problem for my car is the line for the turbo oil feed n drain, and water feed and drain too.. i'm hopping that i can get everything running before the end of next month. also i had to buy a another tranny for the supra, since the one i had was going out already. that was another week delay.. I hope nothing else breaks down or some thing.. I want my car back now.. sooooo baaaaad....

I came by the shop yesterday, hung out at Non's for a bit, Non's taking the motor out of my car already. hopefully in a couple of weeks it'll be running. ALso, I just bought a used HKS GCC for the supra.. I can't wait for my car to finally run....

[5/9/2001 11:43:23 AM | joe j.]
well it's been two weeks since I dropped my car off. I came by Non's to check up on my car... The stock head is on the block now and he's gonna put the new turbo on the new motor. I'm not sure if I told you guys I'm running a different manifold for my turbo. Last weekend I bought an Old Skool HKS manifold for the TO4, soo.. I won't be using the Cartech manifold and downpipe anymore.. if anyone is interested i'll sell with the Turbonetics wastegate... e-mail me. make an offer... they're brand new never been used... Yah kno that I'm an HKS Freak right?... Had to go with HKS ...... I'll be going there tomorrow to check up on my car and maybe take some pictures...

[4/23/2001 10:03:32 AM | joe j.]
So last Sunday, I mean yesterday, I finally brought my motor to my mechanic. Hopefully within 3-4 weeks my car would eventually be done. I'm hoping everything would be ok and that no big mishaps would happen. Wish me luck...

[4/17/2001 1:14:11 PM | joe j.]
i think i'll be truning my car to my mechanic this weekend. hopefully by the end of april i will get my car back with a whole ne motor in it. after the new engien install I'll be in need of a tuner for my car.. Gotta have all th eparts work in unison right. Also I'll try to scan and post my Dyno run from stillen last october. that is if I dn't get lazy or forget to do it when I get home from work..

[4/10/2001 12:46:15 PM | joe j.]
I just talked to my mechanic, he said he'll be back by the 15th of this month so hopefully I'll get the car running before the end of this month. Also, I just sold my wheels to a friend of mine... from this day on I will be rolling with stock wheels for awhile, well actually until I get a nice set of 17's or 18's.. I'll build the motor first before i go for looks since, I've always doen the opposite with my past rides.. well that's it for now...

Hi, people it seems to me that I only do updates about once a month.. well i finally ordered my RC injectors, bought them at turbochargers.com I got them at a good price too, usually the injectors cost around 100 bucks each but turbochargers.com were selling them for only 80 bucks weach.. not bad, also no sales tax since it's out of state the only thing i had to pay was shipping. over all i saved almost a hundred buck on my order, the only thing that i need to do is buy the clips from RC Engineering when they come in this week. I will finally get my project rolling aorund the second week april. I wil be taking my car to Non for the engine assembly and transplant/ hopefully by the end of april early may my car will be back witha new engine and new turbo in it's cradle..

[2/23/2001 10:51:30 AM | joe j.]
It's been over a month now, I still haven't done anythig to my car. so what new... ha ha ha ha.. The truth of the matter is, i'm still saving up money for the rebuild, the only thing i need now is 6 550cc injectors and a high flo fuel pump from a 93-98 twin turbo supra.. other than that, I just need money to start the ball rolling. Right now I am addicted to watching the "INITIAL D" anime, It's the story of a Hachiroku driver, and his racing exploits against different teams. The anime emphasizes on racingon the mountain passes.. or in other words.. "drifting" "dori-dori" This is a type of racing that not a lot of us in Ameriac are into, coz here were into quarter mile drags, and high speed highway battles.. I'm don't really know how to drift, but will all change soon, coz I wil defientely try to learn this type of driving. it seems to be sooo fun.. Peopele should check the "Initial D" anime out. If your a car lover you'll definitely like it. it has great pop songs, great races and it actually kinda funny too, u can get subtitlled version(just tlike the one i have) through different internet companies. here's a few links for people who are interested. I think I struck gold!..I finally found a mechanic that I think I can trust. Last Night, I decided to go to Signal Auto to see how much they would charge me to assemble and install my motor, after a few minutes of trying to communicate with a non-english speaking Japanese mechanic.. I came to the conclusion that it was gonna cost me a whole wad of bucks to get my motor installed by this place.. In my frustration, I decided to go home.. While I was ranting and raving about how much it was gonna cost me to make the motor run, an Idea came up I thought to myslef why don't I ask Non if he can install my motor. If you don't know Non you've probably seen his car or cars.. I think his metallic rust colored 240 was in the cover of Superstreet a couple of months back.. I believe that he has one of the dopest 240's around. So I decided to turn into Normandie to get to his shop ENONvativ Force. When I get to the lot I see his wife's rust colored miata, a pearl white MR2 and his bad ass 240 parked in the front. I thought to myself "at least i know he was there." So I go in the shop ask for Non. Non then comes out of the shop area, he tells em "long time no see" I replied yeah I know. I then proceed to tell him that I'm way too lazy now to assemble the motor and that if he can do it at his shop.. He tel;ls me he can and if I want the new turbo installed it's best to do it when he installs the new motor. He tells me how much it'll cost. I agree on the ballpark price...the only thing is that he can't do it this month.. maybe next month.. For me I don't really care as long as it gets done.... So hopefulyy sometime around Feb my new motor is gonna be in my Supra.. Wish me luck ....

Man, i wish i wa in Japan right now.. maybe if I click my heels and close my eyes, imight end up there.. ha ha ha.. I just saw Overboost.com's Tokyo Auto Salon coverage. why don't they ever have parts for my car? too outdated? too cheap? too ugly? i don't give a crap I still like it. I still don't have a mechanic that will build my motor SIGNAL AUTO still hasn't called me back yet to give me a qoute on the motor assembly... Whats up with me and Japanese Mechanics? do i have a japanese fetish or what? Am I a JDM kinda guy? I still haven't gotten to upload the picture sof my turbo..don't fret I'll eventually do it..

Last Tuesday, as I was going to my aunt's house I got pulled over. As soon as I saw the cop in the back of my car I knew that I was gonna be stopped by the popo. When the lady officer came to my car, she asked me the usual "Do you know why I pulled you over?" I answered with the good ole "I don't know officer" line. SHe told me that I had a modified exhaust on my car, she also told me that I have a lot of illegal crap on my car like boost gauges, boost controllers etc. She didn't say it specifically but she pointed it out to me.(I was thinking to my self how can a boost gauge be illegal? it measures boost goddamit... I kinda argued with her that my exhaust is street legal, I told her that It was a GReddy and that it was well below the maximum decibel level allowed by law. She insisted that it wasn't stating that mufflers from midas were the only illegal aftermarket exhausts. I insisted that she was wrong, and that the Greddy was a street legal exhaust. To make a long story short she gave me a modified exhaust ticket, no front license plate and no proof of insurance ticket. To top it off i have to go to compton municipal court to pay it off..(I hate going to courts) Damn what a day..

If you guys thought i was dead. well your wrong I'm still here alive and kicking. Nothing new really happened for the whole month of november.. hahah okay just kidding. last friday my new turbo finally came. After months of waiting TURBONETICS FINALLY finished my Turbo, the reason for the delay was that they did not have the specific shaft I wanted. Basically the turbo is a TO4 60-1 hi-fi 0-trim with a .58 ar... if think that's it I redid the turbo so many times I can't exactly remember what the specifics are. I also got a Turbonetics wastegate and heatshield for the turbo. I'll post up pics in the next couple of days. So basically I have everything I need to build my motor, the head is here, block is here tubo is here.. NOW the hard part is building it and installing it in the car. Wow... It's gonna be a busy next couple of months ... Don't fret I'll take pictures of the install and frustration associated with this car.. hahah If I get really lazy... I'll have someone else do it hahhaa,,, i'ma fuckin lazzeee ass...

[11/6/2000 1:15:51 PM | joe j.]
I was supposed to go to SEMA last week. But due to familial obligations and plain ole laziness, I decided no to go. I'll jsut ask my friend Dennis on how the convention was hmmm... maybe he'll give me some free brochures to read while im in the crapper... THe car is still the same.. I actualy wasn't even able to use the Supra this past week. I was rolling with my Uncle's Ford Excursion. Damn that car was Biiiig. I'm not used to driving large humungous, hard to park, hard to drive, slow as hell SUV's. I'd rather drive a car anyday.

[11/1/2000 12:08:43 PM | joe j.]
Same Ole shit, nothing's happening STill waiting for my Turbo to come in...

[10/24/2000 11:35:16 AM | joe j.]
Well another boring weekend for me, I've been cruising the loacl dealers, thinking of getting a new car. While cruising and talking to car salesmen, I have just proved my theory correct, "Sales men are DICKS" Okay this is how it went. I went to a couple of dealers using the Supra, The damn fuckers didn't even give me a second look, they did the I am hollier than you look, the look that says "you can't afford that car look" So I was like what the hell asshole...I hate shit like this. But when i came back the next day with my CLK the salesmen were all nice and courteous to me.. I was thinking to myelf "fuckin asshole" LIke i'll actually buy my car from you, you hipocrite.. Grr.. Shit like this really irks me.. Salesmen should be nice to everyone, treat all potential customers the same no matter what car they drive, what they dress like, or what they look like. That's it for me to day.

[10/19/2000 8:00:42 PM | joe j.]
Wow more than one update today...
Here are things that I think about when I'm driving:

I hate fuckin ghetto drivers. pisses me the hell off. Okay so I was driving home from work today. Actually I was stopped at the light, I then hear some one revving I look at my side, I look at my back, no racers or riceboy anywhere? as soon as the light turned green . This piece of shit Buick on my left side started hauling ass. I was like what the Fuck!?! Stupid ass. So we both get to the next light, he then starts revving up on me again.. I was thinking to my self maybe I should give this guy a run for his money and kick his sorry behind.. But I thought to myself this guy is not worth the ticket that I might get. If I'm gonna get a ticket for speeding or speed contest it better be against a worthwhile car like a supra, rx-7, 3000 gt or some fast car. So as soon as the light turns green the driver started hauling ass but this time he looked at me while he was giving me the hole shot. The driver who happend to be black didn't just look, he actually stared at me.. He was probably offended because I didn't race him or something.. What a fuckin waste of time.. Is it just me or do i just attract assholes. Fuck I hate ghetto drivers usually black people are pretty cool they look at u, say wassup, complement on your ride, and they just say peace out.. It's usually some ghetto mexican or white trash v8 driver tha always want to start shit. (Before I get my ass kicked, by almost everybody out there. I am not a RACIST it just so happens that people that do these idiotic things towards me are either white, black or mexican).I'm tire dof this bullshit maybe i should get a mini van so i dont get harassed anymore...

Another thing that pisses me off is drivers of fixed up cars in general, For example I get next to any fixed up import car I have the habit of looking at the car.. I scan to see what the person has done to it. Look at the kit, paintjob etc. I think to my self "hmm nice work or he fucked it up big time" Usually with blacks, whites etc they don't mind and they seem to be prety cool about me giving there car a once over. But with Fuckin Asian drivers they give me this fuckin look as if I shgouldn't be looking at their car. I think to myself Fucker!?! WHy the fuck do you tweak out your ride, if you don't want people to look at itThey give the mad dog look a look that they might want to start shit. Fuck! lets get it one I think you value your 1990+ car over my 1987 Ride. When people look at my ride I don't look at them mad, if I see them looking I'll give them a pleased look or somehting in that nature. It actually makes me feel good that other people think that my car is nice or worth looking at. . I think it's just coz I'm an asian guy looking at another asian guy's car. Asian men feel like they need to be better than other asian .. Fuck it's an asian thing ... Can't really do anything about it. So I do advice people to give that "I'm a hard ass fascade" a rest, K. This ain't the play ground anymore.

Lastly, I get ticked off at some of people on car shows. They at times have no fuckin respect for the owners of the cars. Lets for say, I was showing off my car and people gather around to look at it. Some of them ogle, comment, or peek into the car. Most of them have the respect of asking your permission if they can look inside the car and touch stuff in it. But some assholes at times just sits on the hood, fuck around with the stuff inside without permission shit.... Have some respect ass wipe... Grr.... these were just a glimpse of the stuff that pisses me the hell off... Fuck I'll just go eat some dinner right now and watch friends.

[10/19/2000 12:00:12 PM | joe j.]
Okay, I'm pretty bored at work right now so I guess I'll just do an update right now. There's basically nothing new to my world, it's still boring as it was yesterday, nothing new in the car, nothing new in my life... Before I start on rambling about different crap. Please pardon my spelling at times, I'm actually just too lazy to run the spell checker but I do try to proof read everything I write so if I missed something.... Don’t hold that against me. I’ve been on the net for a while now I’ve been using the Internet since the early 90’s so I’m no stranger to it. There are a couple of things that really gets me when I go to a website may it be a car, personal page, porn or whatever. I hate it when I go to a page that takes way too long to download, people got to think that if their site is graphic intensive, the damn thing will take a freaking long time to load up. Not everyone is privilege enough to have a DSL or cable modem, damn I still use a 56 k modem but the damn thing only connects with a 28.8 so please be considerate enough to have the page load up faster. I also hate it when people post up dead links, but that is forgivable people change their WebPages so often it’s hard to keep up. But the most mind numbing and annoying thing in the Internet now is when you got a ghetto WebPages. You know what it is pages that have nothing informative in them, it’s pages that have a title like pInOy PlaYaStYlZ, or ViEtAzIaNqUtee who also TyPe LiKeThIs, N, TaLk LiKe ThEy WeRe Frm Da GhEtTo. Shoot people, learn to write like a human being please…

Sorry about that rant about WebPages but things like that really irks me. Pisses me off for sure. Okay back to cars, I got my new HKS blowoff valve and my new headgasket a couple of weeks ago. So they go on my non-installed parts bin which already has my flywheel, camgears, downpipe, manifold etc. Speaking of downpipes. I was looking at the downpipe that I got form cartech. I was imagining how the downpipe connects to the turbo and the wastegate. At first glance the thing look totally ackward, I was putting it up next to the manifold I can’t seem to figure out how the downpipe will connect to the wastegate? I think I’ll give CARTECH a call maybe they can explain it better to me or maybe they even have a picture of it with the turbo in it.

[10/18/2000 11:09:08 PM | joe j.]
Do you people get frustrated at times with mechanics? U want to kick their Asses, but you’re stuck with them, for example... My mechanic JUN U.S.A. is building my head right now they're supposed to be porting and polishing my head right now... they've had the head for about two months now and they still haven't even started on it. Damn... what the hell is happening there.... what the fuck? Okay to start it off I was supposed to give them a cylinder around April of this year but I. had a difficult time of finding one. It also coincided with my vacation to the Philippines. Hence, the delayed arrival of a good functioning cylinder head. Okay I admit I lagged in my part, but damn it’s been almost two months they even haven’t started on it yet. Shoot, they’ve had my intake pipes for over 4 months they still haven’t started on them. Are all mechanics laggers? I think I have the same luck as ARIC since he gets fucked up mechanics too. I feel for u bro. Well, so I decided to take charge of things for once. I'm taking back my cylinder head from JUN and I am more or less likely just keeping it stock for a while. I guess I’m planning on installing the stock head with the built block and the new turbo. I’ll probably just do the head later maybe next year or maybe never. We’ll see how it goes. So wish me luck tomorrow.

On a side note, my brother is thinking of getting rid of his E320 and is thinking of getting a Porsche 911, (okay before u guys start asking, My bro is making bank money, and his wife is making bank too so, they can afford it and Im just shit out of luck. Oh well, I still like both of my cars.) Last Monday I was able to ride in a 911 for the very first time. The sales man took me for a spin in his 911. Here was our conversation in the car. Joe: "Hey Don (he’s the salesman) I want u to haul ass k, I’m used to fast cars, and I arrogantly tell him that I own a Supra Turbo (deleting the info that it’s an 87)” Don: “oh okay r u ready for 300hp?” I arrogantly answer: “yeah shure I drive a 400 hp supra (ahem a little embellishment on my part, again) I’m ready.” Don: “Okay here we go!” The next 10 minutes of driving were a blur. We zipped, we zagged, we turned, and we took corners like there was no tomorrow. We were going at least 50 thru a 20mph u-turn and the car was absolutely taking car of business. I was left speechless, I was awestruck "what a car" I said to myself. The clincher to this was what Don told me at the end of the ride. “If you’re a car guy, A Porsche is not the begining of he road, its not the middle, but it’s the end.” Damn. Now that’s a sales pitch.

It's been a coule of days since my last update..Nothing really Important has happened in the past weeks.... I'm getting more and more frustated with the car should I just giive up on it or what? should i go all out or do it slowly at a lesser budget.. I'm getting tired with driving the supra evryday ..maybe i should get a new car? should i or shouldn't I... I guess only time and money can tell me the answer.....

[10/11/2000 11:44:11 AM | joe j.]
Well I had a pleasant suprise today, my downpipe from CARTECHjust came in so I'm on the cheery side today. I saw the big huge box just when I was stepping outside the house. Hmmm... Is it Christmas already? I had no time to open my "present" since I was late for work. Hopefully it's the correct downpipe for the TO4 turbo adn not for the CT-26, but with my dumb luck anything can happen. Well, this made me restructure my whole time table for the "buildup". As soon as the TO4 comes in I'll probably install the damn thing already, Since i already have the manifold, wastegate, blowoff valve, and downpipe. I might as well have the shop redo the intercooler piping too. So by the time the head comes in and i finishing rebuilding the new motor I'll have the exhaust side of the equation done. Shit! the weather is soo nice right I'd rather just stay home and sleep, than work on the car.

[10/10/2000 3:08:35 PM | joe j.]
haha this is cool.....

I have a question for you people out there.. Do you sometimes feel that sometimes things are just not going your way? For example, As usual, shit just keeps on happening to me, As you loyal readers already know I get the worst luck. First, it took about 3-4 months to finish my block (they told me 1 month), the first manifold I made won't work on my car (dumbass HKS), I got that freaking exhaust leak (the lost bolt incident), couldn't find a good head (went though about 4 cylinder heads), and now it'll take about another moth for me to find out when they'll be able to finish porting n polishing my head. Mind you one freaking month to find out when they can finish the head. Shit it could be another month after I find out before that damn thing will actually be finished. Damn freaking mechanics are laggers. Damn my freaking luck. I guess I have to restructure my whole plan. Turbonetics told me they will ship my turbo and wastegate within this coming week, it'll probably arrive at the same time with my new Cartech Downpipe. So maybe if I don't get lazy I'll install the new turbo even before the new motor gets done, so I can also have them redo my whole intercooler piping top and bottom, maybe have them install my new HKS SSQ Blow off Valve, I think I bought it because it looked good ha ha ha ha. I'm thinking of getting my car repainted the old drabby Earl Scheib gray is now fading away... Last week when i was taking out a sticker from my car , voila the paint came out too ha ha ha ha.. shit .. crap just keeps on happening. I got some new info for you MKIII owners out there, Fluidyne is coming out with an all aluminum high capacity radiator for our cars, I need to get one because my radiator is giving way on me ( my radiator spits out the water, and my car overheats if I drive more than an hour). Fluidyne told me that the new radiators should be a bolt in replacement and that it would come out around this month or next month. I'll tell you guys how it works, if i get it k... That's it for now peace....

Ok I'm back. The Whole Vegas Trip was fun I saw a couple of 10 sec supras, a 7 sec fire bird.. and a whole lot of crap... I even saw a couple of mark III's that have the japan spec 1jzgte motors in them.. cool twin turbo.. wish I had them in my car. But one thing did stick out? how the heck r u gonna make that car pass smog? there must be a lot of work involved in trying to put that motor in, think about it u probably need a new tranny, engine mounts new fan new intercooler it obviously looks like that the stock intercooler won't work. As for me I think I'll stick with the ole 7mgte for now.. I'm half way there I guess. I'm still waiting on JUN U.S.A. to finish the matchporting on the head... SO as soon as that is done, I hope me and my friends get the inspiration to actually work on the motor. I called turbonetics a couple of days ago and I had them rework my TO4 again, I'm going with an On-center setup instead of my original Tang set-up, the reason is that the downpipe im getting, was originally designed with an on-center TO4 turbo. This will help me keep some of my costs down.  I still have to take the car to shop and I need to upgrade my intercooler pipes. Now I still have the problem of what wastegate I'll be using? should I go with an HKS racing wastegate, a turbonetics deltagate or a cartech wastegate... E-mail me if u people have any opinion on what's a better product. Oh by the way I'll try to post up some pics of the Vegas trip in a couple of days or weeks.. We'll see.. I've been real busy redoing my Home Audio Video setup, rewiring the whole crap, getting new speakers (B&W) He he he....So just keep on checking.. peace

Hey wassup people.. I'm not shure if there is anyone actually reading the crap I'm writing but I guess i'll keep on  going on with my business.. I got an interesting e-mail to day... a couple of weeks or days back I signed a guestbook of a fellow old skooler he runs an 87 rx-7 turboII.. I couldn't believe it he actually answered back he commented on how old school my parts are. hahahaha thats sooo koool... he said something like" there are still people out there that actually know what an HKS EVC I is " You guys should check out his site it's very informative... and dope too he runs for a group called SPEEDLINE they have the shit cars.. visit his site it's dope...  Aric@home  I guess here is where I start rambling about crap again.. I just bought another exhaust manifold for my supra.it's a cartech cast iron manifold.. it's for my to4 turbo.... the reason why I bought the damn thing is that the HKS manifold I have may not work on my car.. friggin HKS didn't tell me, when I bought the manifold that they don't make a friggin wastegate that will fit it.. the hks manifold has a 3 bolt flange(like a triangle) they now only sell a 2 bolt flange (like a diamond) wastegates... damn my friggin luck.... HKS told me I have to modify the flange from a three to a  two.. so i'm screwed. so I now I had to buy the cartech manifold... only thing is the way they have it setup, the wastegate is on top and the turbo it's kinda like on the side facing down.. now im not shure how it is gonna fit there..i guess i'll only find out when I actually put the turbo in....well thats it for now..if your wondering why I went with an hks n cartech manifold is coze they're maid out of cast iron ..so iknoe it wont crack like no cheap ass tubular crap... that i've seen on other cars.. when I do get some money I might even extrude hone the shit out of it....

Well I guess that's it for now..if u want to knoe how much money I blew on manifolds the hks was 600 bucks while the cartech was 550 bucks so I guess im out by a grand just my luck huh....I guess i'll just relax this weekend at the supra meet in vegas.... it'll make me either give up on the car or make me want to do more shit to it.. ill tell you guys how it went... peace

Well here I go again it's been about a month since I last updated my site....I'm back on track again. Getting the car freak bug again. I finally got up my lazy butt to actually start working on my car. Hopefully on Friday(08/25/00) today or Monday my new (okay remanufactured) head is coming in from T.A.P. (Toyota Automotive Parts) My search for a cheap used head was a waste I ended up getting a remanufactured head instead. That set me back about $650 bucks. damn..... I need to get hook ups some how. I ordered my new turbo from Turbonetics last Tuesday hopefully they'll get it done within the next couple of weeks.... its a quick spool he he he TO-4 Ball Bearing Turbo...(I've always wanted to get one of these) heheheh (ingit ka no Steve!!) Oh yeah! I finally took some pictures of my rebuilt block. it looks sooo kool! I need to get the  engine stand that I ordered I got a good deal on it 40 bucks! not bad ! Well As of right now I'm still collecting parts for the supra. I just got my JUN Chromoly Lightened Flywheel hopefully the damn thing is worth it. If u guys want to see pics of my blocks and some of the parts please go to my pictures gallery

hi people here's an update to my supra.. The bad news.. my motor is going down the shit hole.... Okay im gonna rant first on how I hate exhaust leaks.. If you have a turbo like me u knoe what I mean! Damn small leaks cause soooo much problems.. for example my manifold lost a bolt yes! a freaking bolt I cam e home after cruising the supra and heard a loud exhaust leak.. I also felt the car was having a hard time hauling ass... so as soon as I got home I began to think "Hmm... probably the bolt in the header is loose again , better tighten it before it gets worse.. So the next morning I start working on the car. I then found out I lost an exhaust manifold yes! a freaking bolt! so now the car is definitely decommissioned. I'm too lazy to fix the damn thing....

Now for the good news! I just got a call from BENSON's this week. They said that my new block is done hhehehe im sooooo happy.... ... Okay to start this story off, a couple of months ago I bought a used 7mgte motor..  after months in the garage,  I got the block sent off to get built.. I took the damn thing to benson automotive in Santa Ana, CA. I had them fully build the block, I asked them  to change the pistons.. so im running JE pistons with 9:01 compression... and I had the whole block balanced honed and all the crap. I also had the flywheel lightened..(Which is a waste coz im giving the flywheel to my friend Steve) And I bought the JUN flywheel too.... I stayed with the stock connecting rod since the damn thing is made of steel. I just had them shot peen it, what I did change was the bolts I got new connecting rod bolts from arp.... after that I had the  crank balanced lastly, I got the metal o-rings for each piston... the total of this project cost me about 2000 bucks... just the block alone..wow that's alot of moohlah... well I hope u guys read all of this crap... comeback and check on the site ... ill try to show people how to mess up/ splurge money/ try to do it right the next time/ or not do a damn thing to a supra.. check on the site and ill tell more stories in my quest in trying to make my supra to run right............... peace

Here's the newest chapter in my quest to getting more power, remember I told u guys that I bought a used motor for really cheap, I just found out that the cylinder head is totally warped.. So now I have been on the quest of trying to find a good conditioned cylinder head.. I am planning to get my head match ported first nothing extravagant..( for the technical deficient) Match porting is just porting out your cylinder head chambers to match up the opening in your exhaust and intake manifold. I'm keeping the camshafts stock but I did get a set of JUN cam gears so hopefully it'll work perfectly with the N/A camshafts. Okay back to my story I have gone thru three cylinder heads and I am losing hope im thinking of just getting a remanufactured or a totally new cylinder head.. My mechanic won't port a head until he knows that it is perfectly straight.. which is good so he knows that he won't do a shitty job on it so if u guys know of a place that sells cheap remanufactured or brand-new cylinders for a 7mgte motor(87 Toyota supra) please e-mail me at  Turbo7mgte@aol.com

Also if any of you supra freaks know the 2000 LAS VEGAS SUPRA MEET will be on SEPTEMBER 15-17. The meet will be held on The Luxor parking lot. This is the first time that I'm going so hopefully it'll be fun. There will be a supra race on Friday, car show on Saturday and dyno runs on Sunday. The event is open to any supra enthusiast from the Mark I thru the Mark IV. So I hope to see you there.
