Tear Down Again
This is what a motor looks like before a tear down.
Here's Steve thinking of what to do next, do I take the turbo out or what?
Here's a shot of my semi-broken apart motor, after a couple of hours of semi-productive work.
Here's Dennis attaching the hoist to take off the head off my car. and as usual he's doing most of the work. (I have an excuse, I was sick that day)
Here we go, We'll finally see what the hell happened in there.
Could I have destroyed the cylinder head, block or both?????
Dennis sees the damage I've done.. and..
(Oh yeah there's my TO4 Turbo with he HKS manifold and wastegate)
After careful inspection, the pistons were unharmed (Yeah!) but the o-ring was jacked and so was the head, I blew some chunks off the damn thing..
And they say you can't blow a Metal Head Gasket. Yeah Right!!!
Now I'm just on a look out for another head and a new Thicker Metal Head Gasket. My car then should be running in no time.
