ABOVE: Here are my freshly blasted valve covers, upper and lower intake, and part of the front cover.
ABOVE: A picture of my driver side header after being welded up and painted.
ABOVE: I took a picture of my Modern Muscle 3" downpipe after paint.  I used a high heat paint called "Stainless Steel in a can".  We will see if it hold up.
ABOVE: Check out my engine bay!  I need to find a before picture so you can see the improvement.
ABOVE AND RIGHT: Engine bay again.  The
firewall cleaned up pretty good without painting.
The frame on the other hand needed a good clean
and paint job.  As you can see, it didnt come out too bad.  I just need to get the motor pieces cleaned up and it will be good to go.  Keep checking back for updates and more pictures.
More Pictures:
ABOVE: Here is a shot of the bottom end all buttoned up ready for the oil pan/front cover.  After having the new cam bearings installed, and the rod and main bearings checked, I ended up replacing the rod bearings, but left the mains.  Of course I ordered a new cam kit.  The kit included all of the following:
Comp Cams 206/206 Flat Tappet Camshaft
Comp Cams Lifters
Comp Cams 980 Valve Springs
Comp Cams Double Roller Timing Chain and Gear
Update:  As of April 20, 2001
Here is a few shots of engine assembly.  I can't possibly upload them all, but here are a few.
