Coby was loved from the moment we found out I was pregnant. My husband and I were devestated when we found out he had HLHS. However, we do not regret the decisions we made and are so thankful we had him for the time we did. We would choose the three surgeries again if we had to do over. We do not want people to give up hope. There are many success stories found on the internet. Children can and do survive HLHS. Coby just wasn't one of those children.
We wanted everyone to know at the funeral how much we loved Coby. We took our time and made sure his funeral would touch everyone who attended. Please take the time to read about his service.
